सोलहवीं परिषद् का वर्तमान (तीन वर्ष) कार्यकाल 21 जुलाई, 2007 को समाप्त हो जाएगा । 22 जुलाई, 2007 को सतरहवीं परिषद् और चार क्षेत्रीय परिषदों के गठन के लिए केन्द्रीय परिषद् और चार क्षेत्रीय परिषदों का चुनाव निम्नलिखित अधिसूचनाओं के अनुसार होगा ।
सं. ईएल-2007/ 4.-कॉस्ट एंड वर्क्स एकाउण्टेंट्स एक्ट, 1959 (यथा- संशोधन अधिनियम, 2006 द्वारा संशोधित) और एक्ट कीधारा 9 की उप - धारा (2) के खण्ड (ए) और कॉस्ट एंड वर्क्स एकाउण्टेंट्स विनियमावली , 1959 के विनियम 117 व 118 के अन्तर्गत निर्दिष्ट कॉस्ट एंड वर्क्स एकाउण्टेंट्स (परिषद् के चुनाव) नियमावली , 2006 के नियम 4 के उपनियम (2) के अनुसरण में निर्वाचन अधिकारी और सचिव , इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ कॉस्ट एंड वर्क्स एकाउण्टेंट्स ऑफ इण्डिया, एतद्वारा अधिसूचित करते हैं कि वर्ष 2007 में परिषद् तथा क्षेत्रीय परिषदों के चुनाव निम्नलिखित विवरण के अनुसार कराए जाएंगे:

सं. ईएल-2007/ 5.-इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ कॉस्ट एंड वर्क्स एकाउण्टेंट्स (परिषद् के चुनाव) नियमावली, 2006 के नियम 9 के उप-नियम (1 ) के अनुसरण में एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित अधिसूचना जारी की जाती है कि:

परिषद् उन उम्मीदवारों के नोमांकन पत्र आमंत्रित करती है, जो 5 जून, 2007 को होने वाली सतरहवीं परिषद् के चुनावों में खड़ा होना चाहते हैं । वे अपने नामांकन पत्र कॉस्ट एंड वर्क्स एकाउण्टेंट्स (परिषद् के चुनाव ) नियमावली, 2006 के नियम 9 में निर्दिष्ट ढंग से डॉ. देबाशीष बागची , निर्वाचन अधिकारी और सचिव, आईसीडब्ल्यूएआई को (उनके नाम से) एक बंद लिफाफे में 12, सदर स्ट्रीट, कोलकाता- 700016 के पते पर भेज सकते हैं, जिस पर "परिषद् के चुनाव के लिए नामाकंन पत्र, 2007-2011 " लिखा होना चाहिए , जो 12 मार्च, 2007 को सायं 6 बजे तक अवश्य पहुंच जाने चाहिए ।
उम्मीदवार कॉस्ट एंड वर्क्स एकाउण्टेंट्स (परिषद् के चुनाव) नियमावली, 2006 से परिचित होने के लिए इंस्टीट्यूट की वेबसाइट www.myicwai.com को देख सकते हैं । नामांकन पत्रों को उक्त नियमावली के नियम 9 में निर्दिष्ट तथा उप- नियम (3) के अन्तर्गत इंस्टीट्यूट की परिषद् द्वारा अनुमोदित फार्म में होना आवश्यक है । इंस्टीट्यूट की वेबसाइट से नामांकन पत्रों के फार्मों को डाउनलोड किया जा सकता है ।
नामांकन पत्रों के साथ 'सेक्रेटरी, आईसीडब्ल्यूएआई' के नाम कोलकाता में देय 10,000 रु. (दस हजार रुपए) का डिमाण्ड ड्राफ्ट संलग्न होना चाहिए । उम्मीदवार नियम 9 के उप-नियम (2) के अनुसार अधिक से अधिक दस नामांकन पत्र इंस्टीट्यूट के कोलकाता हैडक्वार्टर को ही भेजें ।

क्षेत्रीय परिषद् के चुनावों के लिए उम्मीदवारों को 'सेक्रेटरी, आईसीडब्ल्यूएआई' के नाम कोलकाता में देय 150 रूपए (एक सौ पचास रूपए ) के शुल्क का डिमाण्ड ड्राफ्ट देना आवश्यक है । यह भी कि नामांकन पत्र कोलकाता में इंस्टीट्यूट के हैडक्वार्टर को ही भेजे जाएंगे ।
इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ कॉस्ट एंड वर्क्स एकाउण्टेंट्स ऑफ इण्डिया की क्षेत्रीय परिषदों का गठन
सं. ईएल-2007/7.-कॉस्ट एंड वर्क्स एकाउण्टेंट्स एक्ट, 1959 की धारा 23 की उप-धारा (1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का उपयोग करते हुए , इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ कॉस्ट एंड वर्क्स एकाउण्टेंट्स ऑफ इण्डिया की परिषद् एतद्वारा चार क्षेत्रीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों के लिए कॉस्ट एंड वर्क्स एकाउण्टेंट्स विनियमावली, 1959 के विनियम 114 के उप- विनियम (1 ) के अनुसरण में क्षेत्रीय परिषदों के गठन की अधिसूचना जारी करती है; केन्द्र सरकार ने इन चार क्षेत्रीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों की अधिसूचना कॉस्ट एंड वर्क्स एकाउण्टेंट्स एक्ट, 1959 की धारा 9 की उप-धारा (2 ) के खण्ड (ए) के अन्तर्गत भारत के राजपत्र असाधारण, भाग II में 20 नवम्बर, 2003 के का.आ. 1331 (अ) के रूप में अनुभाग 3 के उप-अनुभाग (ii) में जारी की थी, अर्थात्:-

सं. ईएल-2007/8.-कॉस्ट एंड वर्क्स एकाउण्टेंट्स एक्ट, 1959 (यथा- संशोधन अधिनियम, 2006 द्वारा संशोधित) के अन्तर्गत निर्दिष्ट कास्ट एंड वर्क्स एकाउण्टेंट्स (परिषद् के चुनाव) नियमावली, 2006 के नियम (11 ) के उप- नियम (1 ) के अनुसरण में एतद्वारा अधिसूचित किया जाता है कि 2007-2011 की अवधि के लिए इंस्टीट्यूट की केन्द्रीय परिषद् के चुनाव के लिए किसी भी उम्मीदवार कोअपनी उम्मीदवारी के लिए 20,000 रूपए (बीस हजार रूपए केवल) की सिक्यूरिटी डिपाजिट राशि जमा करनी होगी, चाहे उसने कितने ही नामाकंन पत्र दाखिल क्यों न किए हों । सिक्यूरिटी डिपाजिट की राशि कोलकाता में देय सेक्रेटरी , इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ कॉस्ट एंड वर्क्स एकाउण्टेंट्स ऑफ इण्डिया के नाम देय डिमाण्ड ड्राफ्ट द्वारा की जाएगी ।

(दस हजार रूपए केवल) का शुल्क जमा करना होगा, चाहे उसने कितने ही नामांकन पत्र दाखिल क्यों न किए हों । कॉस्ट एंड वर्क्स एकाउण्टेंट्स विनियमावली , 1959 के विनियम 117 के अन्तर्गत उप- धारा (2 ) के अनुसार किसी भी उम्मीदवार को केवल क्षेत्रीय परिषदों के चुनाव के लिए 150 रु. They should forward their nominations in the manner specified in Rule 9 of the Cost and Works Accountants (Elections to the Council) Rules, 2006 to Dr. Debasis Bagchi, Returning Officer and Secretary, ICWAI (By Name) in a closed envelope super scribing on it "Nomination for Council Election 2007-2011 " at No. 12, Sudder Street, Kolkata- 700 016 so as to reach him not later than 6:00 PM on 12th March, 2007.

Candidates may visit the Institute's website : www.myicwai.com for familiarizing themselves with the Cost and Works Accountants (Elections to the Council ) Rules , 2006. The nominations shall be in the form approved by the Council ofthe Institute under Sub - rule (3) and as specified in Rule 9 of the said Rules . Nominationforms can be downloaded from the website of the Institute .
Nominations shall be accompanied by a fee of Rs . 10,000 (Rupees Ten thousand only ) by Demand Draft , payable at Kolkata and drawn in favour of the Secretary , ICWAI . Candidates can submit maximum number of ten nominations as per Sub -rule (2) of Rule 9. Further, nominations shall be sent only to Institute's Headquarters at Kolkata.

Elections to the Regional Councils of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India
No. EL- 2007/6 . In pursuance of sub-regulation (2) of Regulation 114 of the Cost and Works Accountants Regulations 1959 the Council of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India hereby notifies that the elections to the Regional Councils shall be held in the manner as specified hereunder:

The Council of the Institute invites nomination of candidates who desire to stand for elections to a Regional Council to be held on 5th June 2007. The nominations shall be delivered to Dr. Debasis Bagchi , Returning Officer , Secretaty ofthe Institute (By Name), in a closed envelope super scribing on it "Nomination for Regional Council Election 2007-2011 " at 12, Sudder Street , Kolkata 700 016 so as to reach him not later than 6.00 PM on Monday, the 12th March, 2007. Nomination forms can be downloaded from the Institute's website : www.myicwai.com.
Candidates for elections to a Regional Council shall pay a fee of Rs . 150 (Rupees One hundred fifty only ) in favour of The Secretary , ICWAI , payable at Kolkata . Further , nominations shall be sent only to Institute's Headquarters at Kolkata.

No. EL- 2007 /7.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section ( 1 ) of Section 23 of the Cost and Works Accountants Act, 1959 the Council of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India, hereby notifies the constitu- tion of Regional Councils as under in pursuance of sub-regulation (1) of Regulation 114 of the Cost and Works Accoun- tants Regulations , 1959 for the four Regional Constituencies notified by the Central Government vide Notification pub- lished in the Gazette of India Extraordinary, Part II , sub -section (ii) of Section 3 as S.O. 1331 (E) dated 20th November, 2003 under clause (a) of Sub - section (2) of Section 9 of the Cost and Works Accountants Act 1959, namely:

Payment ofSecurity Deposit for the Elections to the Council of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India
No EL- 2007/8.-In pursuance of sub- rule (1) of Rule 11 of the Cost and Works Accountants (Elections to the Council) Rules, 2006 specified under the Cost and Works Accountants Act, 1959 (as amended by the Amendment Act , 2006), it is hereby notified that in respect of elections to the Central Council of the Institute for the term 2007-2011 , a candidate shall pay an amount Rs . 20,000 (Rupees twenty thousand only) as Security Deposit for his candidature irrespec- tive of the number of nominations that may be filed. The security deposit shall be paid by Demand Draft, drawn in favour of The Secretary , Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India payable at Kolkata.
Payment of Fee for Elections to the Council and Elections to the Four Regional Councils of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India
No EL-2007/9.-In pursuance of sub -rule (1 ) of Rule 10 of the Cost and Works Accountants (Elections to the Council) Rules, 2006 specified under the Cost and Works Accountants Act, 1959 (as amended by the Amendment Act , 2006) it is hereby notified that in respect of Elections to the Central Council a candidate shall pay an amount of Rs .10,000 (Rupees ten thousand only) as Fee for Elections to the Central Council irrespective of the number of nominations that may be filed by him. By virtue of sub -Regulation (2) under Regulation 117 of the Cost and Works Accountants Regulations 1959, a candidate shall pay a fee of Rs . 150 (Rupees one hundred fifty only) for elections to the Regional Councils , irrespective of the number of nominations that may be filed by him . The fee shall be paid by Demand Draft, drawn in favour of The Secretary, Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India, payable at Kolkata .
