आ.अ. 19( अ ).-लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 22 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , भारत निर्वाचन आयोग इसके द्वारा दिनांक 13 अगस्त, 2003 की अपनी अधिसूचना संख्या 434/उत्तरां. लो.स./2001 ( 1 ) और समय- समय पर यथा संशोधित नियुक्ति अधिकारियों के अतिरिक्त नीचे की सारणी के स्तम्भ ( 2 ) में विनिर्दिष्ट सरकार के अधिकारी को, राज्य सरकार के ऐसे अधिकारियों के सामने उक्त सारणी के स्तम्भ ( 1 ) में यथा- विनिर्दिष्ट उत्तराखण्ड राज्य में संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के रिटर्निंग आफिसर की उत्तराखण्ड राज्य में लोक सभा के उप- चुनाव के दौरान डाक मतपत्रों की गणना में सहायता करने के लिए सहायक रिटर्निंग आफिसर के रूप में नियुक्त करता है : --

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 14th February , 2007
O.N. 19(E ) . In exercise of powers conferred by Sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 22 of the Representation ofPeople Act, 1951 (43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission of India hereby , appoints , in addition to the officers appointed by its Notification No. 434/UCL - HP/2001 ( 1 ) , dated 13th August, 2003 , as amended from time to time, the officer of the Government ofUttarakhand as specified in column (2 ) of the table below as Assistant Returning Officer to assist the Returning Officer of the Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Uttarakhand as specified in column ( 1 ) of the said table against such officer of the State Government in counting of postal ballots during the ensuing Bye - election to the Lok Sabha, 2007 in the Uttarakhand State :--
