नई दिल्ली , 21 फरवरी , 2007 सं. 7/2007- के.उ.शु. ( गै.टै. )
सा.का. नि. 100( अ ).के.उ.शु. अधिनियम , 1944 ( 1944 का 1 ) की धारा 37 और वित्त अधिनियम, 1994 ( 1994 का 32 ) की धारा 94 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार एतद्वारा केन्द्रीय मूल्यवर्धित कर क्रेडिट नियमावली, 2004 को आगे और संशोधित करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात्:-
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों को केन्द्रीय मूल्यवर्धित क्रेडिट ( संशोधन ) नियमावली, 2007 कहा जाये ।
(2) ये सरकारी राजपत्र में इनके प्रकाशन की तारीख से प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. केन्द्रीय मूल्यवर्धित क्रेडिट नियमावली, 2004 में ( इसके पश्चात् " उक्त नियमावली " के रूप में उल्लेख ) नियम 2 , खण्ड (क) में, उप- खण्ड ( क ) में, मद ( 1 ) में, " शीर्ष सं. 68.02 और उपशीर्ष सं. 6801.10 " शब्दोंऔर अंकों के स्थान पर , " शीर्ष 6805 , शीर्ष 6804 के अंतर्गत आने वाले ग्रिडिंग व्हील्स और जैसे समान , तथा उसके पुर्जे " शब्द और अंक प्रतिस्थापित किए जाएंगे ।
3. उक्त नियमावली में, नियम 3 में, उप - नियम ( 7 ) में , खण्ड ( ग ) में, शब्दों और अंकों " क्रमशः उपशीर्ष सं. 2504.21 अथवा 2504.31 " के स्थान पर " क्रमशः टैरिफ मद 2515 12 20 और 2515 12 90 " शब्द और अंक प्रतिस्थापित किए जाएंगे ।
4. उक्त नियमावली में , नियम 4 में, उपनियम (2 ) में , खण्ड (ख ) में , " शीर्ष सं. 68.02 और उपशीर्ष सं. 6801.10 " शब्द और अंकों के स्थान पर " शीर्ष सं. 6805 , शीर्ष 6804 के अंतर्गत आने वाले ग्रिडिंग व्हील्स और जैसे समान, तथा उसके पुर्जे " शब्द और अंक प्रतिस्थापित किए जाएंगे ।
5. उक्त नियमावली में, नियम 6 में, उप- नियम (3 ) में, खण्ड (क ) में, -
(i ) मद ( i ) में " शीर्ष सं. 22.04 " शब्दों और अंकों के स्थान पर " शीर्ष 2207 " शब्द और अंक प्रतिस्थापित किए जाएंगे ।

(ii) मद ( v ) में " शीर्ष सं. 48.01 में आने वाले न्यूजप्रिंट , रोल्स अथवा शीट में" शब्दों और अंकों के स्थान पर " अध्याय 48 में आने वाले न्यूजप्रिंट , रोल्स , शीट अथवा रील्स में" शब्द और अंक प्रतिस्थापित किए जाएंगे ।

टिप्पणः मूल अधिनियम दिनांक 10 सितम्बर , 2004 के सं. सा.का.नि. 600 ( अ ) के तहत भारत के राजपत्र में दिनांक 10 सितम्बर , 2004 की अधिसूचना सं. 23/2004.- के.उ.शु. ( गै .टै. ) के द्वारा प्रकाशित किए गए थे और अंतिम बार दिनांक 30 दिसम्बर, 2006 की सं. सा.का.नि. 781 ( अ ) के तहत दिनांक , 30 दिसम्बर, 2006 की अधिसूचना सं. 31/2006 के.उ.शु.. ( गै.टै. ) के द्वारा संशोधित किए गए थे ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 21st February , 2007 No. 7 /2007- Central Excise ( N.Τ. )
G.S.R. 100 (F) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 37 of the Central Excise Act, 1944 ( 1 of 1944) and Section 94 of the Finance Act, 1994 (32 of 1994) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the CENVAT Credit Rules , 2004, namely:---
1. ( 1) These rules may be called the CENVAT Credit ( Amendment) Rules , 2007.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In the CENVAT Credit Rules , 2004 (hereinafter referred to as the ' said rules ' ) , in rule 2 , in clause ( a) , in sub- clause (A) , in item ( i) , for the words and figures " heading No. 68.02 and sub - heading No. 6801.10 " , the words and figures "heading 6805 , grinding wheels and the like , and parts thereof falling under heading 6804 " shall be substituted.
3. Inthe said rules, in rule 3 , in sub - rule (7) , in clause (c) , for the words and figures " sub - heading No. 2504.21 or 2504.31 respectively " , the words and figures " tariff items 2515 12 20 and 2515 12 90 respectively " shall be substituted.
4. In the said rules , in rule 4, in sub -rule (2 ), in clause ( b) , for the words and figures " heading No. 68.02 and sub- heading No. 6801.10 " , the words and figures " heading 6805, grinding wheels and the like, and parts thereof falling under heading 6804 " shall be substituted.
5. In the said rules , in rule 6, in sub - rule ( 3 ) , in clause ( a) ,-
(i) in item ( i ), for the words and figures " heading No. 22.04 " , the word and figures "heading 2207 " shall be substituted.
(ii) in item (v) , for the words and figures "newsprint, in rolls or sheets , falling within heading No. 48.01 " , the words and figures " newsprint, in rolls , sheets or reels , falling within Chapter 48 " shall be Substituted .
