का.आ. 318( अ ). केन्द्रीय सरकार , ऊर्जा कार्यकुशलता ब्यूरो से परामर्श करके ऊर्जा संरक्षण अधिनियम , 2001 ( 2001 का 52 ) की धारा 14 के खंड ( 1 ) और धारा 18 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए यह निर्देश देती है कि प्रत्येक अभिहित उपभोक्ता,-
(क) ऐसे किसी ऊर्जा प्रबंधक को पदाभिहित या नियुक्त करेगा जिसके पास ऊर्जा संरक्षण ( ऊर्जा प्रबंधकों के लिएन्यूनतम अर्हता ) नियम, 2006 में विनिर्दिष्ट न्यूनतम अर्हता हैं; और
(ख ) ऊर्जा संरक्षण ( अभिहित उपभोक्ता द्वारा ऊर्जा उपभोग की प्रास्थिति पर रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत करने का प्ररूप और रीति) नियम , 2007 में विहित किए गए अनुसार प्रत्येक वित्तीय वर्ष के अंत में ऊर्जा उपभोग की प्रास्थिति संबंधी रिपोर्ट , अभिहित अभिकरण को इलैक्ट्रोनिक प्ररूप में और हार्ड प्रति में ऊर्जा कार्यकुशलता ब्यूरो को प्रति सहित अभिहित अभिकरण को प्रस्तुत करेगा ।

New Delhi , the 2nd March , 2007
S.O. 318(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Section 14 and Section 18 of the. Energy Conservation Act, 2001 (52 of 2001 ) , the Central Government , in consultation with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency hereby direct, that every designated consumer shall-
(a) designate or appoint an energy manager having the minimum qualification specified in the Energy Conservation (minimum qualification for energy managers) Rules ,2006; and
(b) submit a report in electronic form as well as hard copy to the designated agency with a copy to the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, on the status of energy consumption at the end of every financial year as prescribed in the Energy Conservation ( the form and manner for submission of report on the status of energy consumption by the designated consumers) Rules,2007.
