विषय : असंगठित क्षेत्र में उद्यमों के लिए राष्ट्रीय आयोग का गठन आयोग के पूर्णकालिक और अंशकालिक सदस्यों तथा सदस्य-सचिव की नियुक्ति
सं. 5-2 / 2004 /एसएसआई ( सी ), सरकार ने दिनांक 20 सितम्बर , 2004 की संकल्प सं. 5 (2 ) /2004/आईसीसी के अधीन असंगठित/अनौपचारिक क्षेत्र में उद्यमों के लिए एक राष्ट्रीय आयोग गठित किया था, जिसका नाम दिनांक 9 मई , 2005 की संकल्प सं. 5 (2 ) /2004/एसएसआई ( सी ) द्वारा बदलकर असंगठित क्षेत्र में उद्यमों के राष्ट्रीय आयोग ( एन.सी.ई.यू.एस. ) के रूप में कर दिया गया था । आयोग का कार्यकाल दिनांक 10 फरवरी , 2005 की संकल्प सं. 5 ( 2 )/2004 - एसएसआई ( सी ) द्वारा दिनांक 20-9-2004 से एक वर्ष से बढ़ाकर तीन वर्ष किया गया था और असंगठित क्षेत्र में उद्यमों के राष्ट्रीय आयोग की संरचना भी दिनांक 9 मई , 2005 की संकल्प सं. 5 ( 2 ) /2004/एसएसआई ( सी) द्वारा संशोधित की गई थी ।
2. डॉ. के. जयशंकर पूर्णकालिक सदस्य और श्री के. के. जसवाल, सदस्य- सचिव के त्यागपत्र देने और एन.सी.ई.यू.एस. में पूर्णकालिक सदस्य के रूप में प्रोफेसर रवि शंकर श्रीवास्तव और सदस्य सचिव के रूप में श्री वी. के. मल्होत्रा की क्रमशः दिनांक 1 मई , 2006 ( पूर्वाह्न ) और 1 मार्च , 2006 ( पूर्वाह्न ) से नियुक्ति के फलस्वरूप दिनांक 9 मई , 2005 के संकल्प के पैरा 2 में यथा प्रदर्शित असंगठित क्षेत्र में उद्यमों के राष्ट्रीय आयोग ( एन.सी.ई.यू.एस. ) की संरचना नीचे यथा प्रदर्शित अब संशोधित की जाती है:-

New Delhi , the 1st March , 2007
Subject : Constitution of a National Commission for Enterprises in the Unorganised Sector -Appointment of Full - time and Part - time Members and Member - Secretary of the Commission
No. 5-2 /2004/ SSI- ( C) . The Government had constituted a National Commission for Enterprises in the Unorganised/Informal Sector under Resolution No. 5 (2)/2004 - ICC dated 20th September , 2004 which was renamed as National Commission for Enterprises in the Unorganised Sector ( NCEUS ) vide Resolution No. 5 (2)/2004/SSI ( C ) dated May 9 , 2005. The term of the Commission was extended from one year to three years w.c.f. 20-9-2004 vide Resolution No. 5 ( 2 )/ 2004/ SSI ( C) dated 10th February , 2005 and the composition of the NCEUS was also revised vide Resolution No. 5(2)/2004/SSI ( C) dated May 9, 2005.
2. Consequent upon the resignation of Dr. K. Jayashankar, Full - time Member and Shri K.K. Jaswal , Member- Secretary and appointment of Professor Ravi Shankar Srivastava as Full -time Member in the NCEUS and Shri V.K. Malhotra as Member - Secretary in the NCEUS w.e.f. 1st May, 2006 (FN) and 1st March, 2006 ( FN ) respectively the constitution of National Commission for Enterprises in the Unorganised Sector (NCEUS ) as indicated in Para 2 of the Resolution datedMay 9 , 2005 now stands modified as indicated below :-
