का.आ. 331 ( अ ), केन्द्रीय सरकार, बीज अधिनियम , 1966 ( 1966 का 54 ) की धारा 4 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) के अंतर्गत शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , और भारत सरकार, तत्कालीन खाद्य, कृषि , सामुदायिक विकास एवं सहकारिता मंत्रालय ( कृषि एवं सहकारिता विभाग ) की अधिसूचना संख्यांक का.आ. 4435 , तारीख 29 सितम्बर, 1969 को अधिक्रांत करते हुए , उन बातों के सिवाय ऐसे अधिक्रमण से पूर्व किया गया है या करने का लोप किया गया है, बीज परीक्षण प्रयोगशाला, राष्ट्रीय बीज अनुसंधान एवं प्रशिक्षण केन्द्र , वाराणसी , कृषि एवं सहकारिता विभाग को उक्त अधिसूचना के अधीन भारतीय कृषि अनुसंधान संस्थान , नई दिल्ली को इसमें इसके पूर्व सौंपे गए कृत्यों को पूरा करने के लिए केन्द्रीय बीज प्रयोगशाला घोषित करती है ।
2. यह अधिसूचना 1 अप्रैल , 2007 को प्रवृत्त होगी ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 8th March, 2007
S.O. 331 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub - section ( 1 ) ofSection 4 ofthe Seeds Act, 1966 (54 of 1966) , and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India, in the then Ministry of Food, Agriculture , Community Development and Co -operation (Department ofAgriculture ) number S.O. 4435, dated the 29th September , 1969 , except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession the Central Government hereby declares the Seed Testing Laboratory, National Seed Research and Training Centre, Varanasi , Department ofAgriculture and Co- operation as Central Seed Laboratory to carry out the functions herein before entrusted to the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi under the said Notification .
2.This notification comes into force with effect from first day ofApril , 2007.
