का.आ. 367( अ). पशुधन आयात अधिनियम, 1898 (1898 का 9 ) के खंड 3 क द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्र सरकार , एतद्वारा भारत सरकार, कृषि मंत्रालय ( पशुपालन, डेयरी और मत्स्यपालन विभाग ) की अधिसूचना संख्या का.आ. 102 ( अ) दिनांक 2 फरवरी , 2007 में निम्नानुसार संशोधन करती है: -
उप- धारा ( ix ) के बाद तथा धारा 2 से पहले उक्त अधिसूचना में निम्नलिखित उपबंध शामिल किया जाएगा , अर्थात्:
बशर्ते कि उक्त उल्लिखित प्रतिबंध भारत में आयात के लिए एवियन इन्फ्लूएंजा ( हाईली पैथोजैनिक एवियन इन्फ्लूएंजा तथा लो पैथोजैनिक एवियन इन्फ्लूएंजा ) सूचित करने वाले देशों से , सूखे प्रसंस्कृत पालतू मशु आहार , जिसमें एवियन प्रजातियों व सूअर का मीट तथा मीट उत्पाद तथा पशु मूल ( पक्षियों से ) आधारित उत्पाद पशु आहार में इस्तेमाल के इरादे से शामिल हैं, के लिए लागू नहीं होंगे।
यह अधिसूचना राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख से लागू होगी ।

NOTIFICATION .
New Delhi , the 14th March , 2007
S.O. 367 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3A of the Live - stock Importation Act , 1898 (9 of 1898), the Central Government hereby amends the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Agriculture (Department of Animal Husbandry , Dairying and Fisheries) No. S.O. 102(E) dated 2nd February, 2007 as follows:
Inthe said notification after Sub - clause (ix ) and before clause 2, the following proviso shall be inserted , namely:
Provided that the prohibition above referred shall not be applicable to import into India of Dried Processed pet food containing the ingredient of meat and meat products from avian species , pig and product of animal origin(from birds) intended for use in animal feeding from the countries reporting Avian Influenza (both Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza and Low Pathogenic Avian Influenza).
This notification shall come into force from the date ofpublication ofthe notification .
