आ.अ. 36( अ ).-यतः महाराष्ट्र राज्य के 22- रामटेक संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से निर्वाचित श्री सुबोध मोहिते का स्थान 14 फरवरी , 2007 से उनके त्याग- पत्र देने के कारण रिक्त हो गया; और
2. यतः इस प्रकार हुई रिक्ति को भरने के प्रयोजन से उप - निर्वाचन कराया जाना है ;
3. अतः , अब , लोकप्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 149 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) , धारा 30 और 56 के अनुसरण में , भारत निर्वाचन आयोग एतद्वारा :-
(अ ) महाराष्ट्र राज्य के 22 - रामटेक संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से यह अपेक्षा करता है कि वह 16 अप्रैल, 2007 ( सोमवार ) से पूर्व और उक्त अधिनियम और तद्धीन बनाए गए नियमों और किए गए आदेशों के उपबन्धों के अनुसार लोक सभा में उक्त रिक्ति को भरने के प्रयोजन से एक व्यक्ति निर्वाचित कर दें;
(आ ) उक्त निर्वाचन के संबंध में :-
(क ) नाम- निर्देशन करने की अन्तिम तारीख
23 मांर्च, 2007 ( शुक्रवार)
(ख) नाम- निर्देशन की संवीक्षा की तारीख
24 मार्च, 2007 (शनिवार )
(ग ) अभ्यर्थिताएं वापस लेने की अंतिम तारीख
26 मार्च, 2007 (सोमवार)
9 अप्रैल, 2007 (सोमवार)
(घ ) वह तारीख , जिसको यदि आवश्यक हुआ तो मतदान होगा
16 अप्रैल , 2007 ( सोमवार )
(ङ) वह तारीख , जिससे पूर्व निर्वाचन सम्पन्न करा लिया जाएगा नियत करता है; और
( इ ) 8.00 बजे पूर्वाहन से 5.00 बजे अपराहन तक का समय , ऐसे समय के रूप में नियत करता है जिसके दौरान यदि आवश्यक हुआ तो , निर्वाचन के लिए उपर्युक्त विनिर्दिष्ट तारीख को, मतदान होगा ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 16th March , 2007
Ο.Ν. 36 ( E ) . Whereas , the scat of Shri Subodh Mohite , in the House of the People, elected from 22 - Ramtek Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Maharashtra, had become vacant on 14th February , 2007, by reason of his resignation; and
2. Whereas , a byc - election is to be held for the purpose of filling the vacancy so caused ;
3. Now, therefore, in pursuance of sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 149 , and Sections 30 and 56 of the Representation of the People Act , 1951 ( 43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission of India hereby:
(A) C'alls upon the said 22 - Ramtek Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Maharashtra to elect, before the 16th April , 2007 ( Monday ) and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the rules and orders made thereunder, a person for the purpose of filling the said vacancy in the House of the People ;
(B) appoints , with respect to the said election :--
( a ) the 23rd March , 2007 ( Friday) , as the last date for making nominations:
(b) the 24th March , 2007 ( Saturday ) , as the date for the scrutiny of nominations ;
( c ) the 26th March , 2007 (Monday ) , as the last date for the withdrawal of candidatures;
(d ) the 9th April , 2007 (Monday) , as the date on which a poll shall , if necessary , be taken ; and ( e ) the 16th April , 2007 (Monday ) , as the date before which the election shall be completed; and (C) fixes the hours from 8.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. , as the hours during which the poll shall , if necessary , be taken on the date specified above for the election.
