सा.का.नि. 228( अ ) कर्मचारी भविष्य निधि और प्रकीर्ण उपबंध अधिनियम, 1952 ( 1952 का 19 ) की धारा 7 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) के साथ पठित धारा 5 , द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार एतद्वारा कर्मचारी भविष्य निधि योजना , 1952 में पुनः संशोधन 'करने के लिए निम्नलिखित योजना बनाती है , अर्थात्:-
1. ( 1 ) इस योजना को कर्मचारी भविष्य निधि ( संशोधन ) योजना , 2007 कहा जाए।
(2 ) यह सरकारी राजपत्र में प्रकाशन के दिनांक से प्रभावी होगीं ।
2. कर्मचारी भविष्य निधि योजना, 1952 में,-
(i ) पैराग्राफ 72 में, उप- पैराग्राफ ( 6 ) में " अदावाकृत जमा खाता शब्द के लिए " अप्रवृत्त खाता " शब्द प्रतिस्थापित किया जाए।
(ii ) पैसग्राफ 72 में, उप- पैराग्राफ ( 6 ) के, परन्तुक में, " अदावाकृत जमा खाता " शब्द के लिए " अप्रवृत्त खाता " शब्द प्रतिस्थापित किया जाए।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 22nd March, 2007 .
G.S.R. 228 (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 , read with Sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 7 of the Employees Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act , 1952 ( 19 of 1952 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following scheme further to amend the Employees ' Provident Funds Scheme , 1952 , namely :
1. ( 1) This Scheme may be called the Employees ' Provident Funds ( Amendment ) Scheme , 2007.
(2) This shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Employees ' Provident Funds Scheme , 1952,-
(i ) In paragraph 72 , in sub - paragraph (6 ) , for the words " Unclaimed Deposits Account " , the words "Inoperative Account " shall be substituted.
( ii ) Ir paragraph 72 , in sub - paragraph (6 ) , in the proviso . for the words " Unclaimed Deposits Account " , the words " Inoperative Account " shall be substituted .
