Ο.Ν. 48 (E ) .- Whereas , Section 61A of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, provides that the giving and recording of votes by voting machines in such manner as may be prescribed, maybe adopted, in such constituencies as the Election Commission may , having regard to the circumstances of each case specify ; and आ.अ. 48( अ ).-यतः , लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम , 1951 की धारा 61क में यह उपबंधित है कि मतदान मशीनों द्वारा मत ऐसी रीति से डाले और रिकार्ड किए जाएंगे जैसा कि भारत निर्वाचन आयोग ऐसे निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के लिए प्रत्येक मामले की परिस्थितियों को ध्यान में रखते हुए निर्दिष्ट करें; तथा
2. यतः , आयोग ने महाराष्ट्र राज्य में 16 - इरन्दोल , 17 -जलगांव तथा 22- रामटेक संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों की परिस्थितियों पर विचार किया है और वह संतुष्ट है कि उपर्युक्त संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों में मतदान के लिए पर्याप्त संख्या में इलेक्ट्रॉनिक वोटिंग मशीनें उपलब्ध हैं, मतदान कर्मचारी इलेक्ट्रॉनिक वोटिंग मशीनों के दक्षतापूर्वक संचालन करने के लिए प्रशिक्षित हैं तथा निर्वाचक भी इलेक्ट्रॉनिक वोटिंग मशीनों की कार्यप्रणाली से पूर्णतया परिचित हैं ।

Whereas , the Commission has considered the circumstances in 16-Erandol, 17 - Jalgaon and 22-Ramtek Parliamentary Constituencies in the State of Maharashtra, and it is satisfied that sufficient number ofElectronic Voting Machines are available for taking the poll in the above mentioned Parliamentary Constituencies , the polling. personnel are well trained in efficient handling of the Electronic Voting Machines and the electors are also fully conversant with the operation of the Electronic Voting Machines;
3. अतः , अब , भारत निर्वाचन आयोग एतद्वारा महाराष्ट्र राज्यमें 16- इरन्दोल, 17 - जलगांव तथा 22 - रामटेक संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों को उन निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों के रूप में विनिर्दिष्ट करता है जिसमें 16 मार्च, 2007 को अधिसूचित उक्त राज्य से लोक सभा के लिए चालू उप-निर्वाचनों में, निर्वाचनों का संचालन नियम , 1961 के अधीन मत निर्धारित रीति से इलेक्ट्रॉनिक मतदान मशीनों के माध्यम से डाले और रिकार्ड किए जाएंगे , जैसा कि इस विषय पर आयोग द्वारा समय - समय पर अनुपूरक अनुदेश जारी किए जाते हैं ।
3. Now, therefore , the Election Commission of India hereby specifies 16-Erandol , 17- Jalgaon and 22-Ramtek Parliamentary Constituencies in the State of Maharashtra, as the constituencies in which the votes at the current bye-elections to the House of the People from the said State notified on 16th March , 2007, shall be given and recorded by means of Electronic Voting Machines in the manner prescribed under the Conduct of Elections Rules , 1961 , and the supplementary instructions issued by the Commission from time to time on the subject.
