S.O. 499(E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Section 3 of the National Highways Act , 1956(48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorises the Sub -Divisional Magistrate , Jalandhar - II as the compe- tent authority to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of publication ofthis notification in the Official Gazette , in respect of the stretch of land from Km. 387.100 to Km. 407.100 (Jalandhar- Amritsar Section) of the National Highway No. 1 for build- ing(widening/four laning, etc. ), maintenance, management and operation of the said National Highway in the State of Punjab as specified in the Schedule below: - का.आ. 499( अ ). केन्द्रीय सरकार, राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग अधिनियम , 1956 ( 1956 का 48 ) की धारा 3 के खंड ( क ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए उप- मंडल मजिस्ट्रेट , जालंधर- II को पंजाब राज्य में नीचे दी गई अनुसूची में यथा विनिर्दिष्ट राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग सं. 1 के 387.100 कि.मी. से 407.100 कि.मी. तक के भूखण्ड ( जालंधर- अमृतसर सेक्शन ) पर उक्त राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग का निर्माण ( चौड़ा करने/चार लेन का बनाने आदि ) , अनुरक्षण, प्रबंध और प्रचालन के संबंध में उक्त अधिनियम के अधीन सक्षम 'प्राधिकारी के कृत्यों का पालन करने के लिए इस अधिसूचना के राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख से सक्षम प्राधिकारी के रूप में प्राधिकृत करती है ।
