आदेश
मुंबई , 12 मार्च , 2007
आई. सी. आई. सी. आई. बैंक/धारा 10 यतः आईसीआईसीआई बैंक लिमिटेड ( जिसे इसके बाद " आईसीआईसीआई " कहा गया है) नौवहन विकास निधि समिति ( उन्मूलन ) अधिनियम , 1986 ( जिसे इसके बाद " उक्त अधिनियम " कहा गया है ) की धारा 16 के अंतर्गत भारत का " अभिहित व्यक्ति " है ;
और अतः , आईसीआईसीआई को अभिहित व्यक्ति के रूप में उक्त अधिनियम के अध्याय III के अनुबंधों के अधीन विशेष अधिकार प्राप्त है , जिनका उसने प्रयोग करने का निर्णय लिया है;
और यतः सिंदिया स्टीम नेविगेशन कम्पनी मर्यादित ( जिसे इसके बाद ' उक्त कम्पनी' कहा गया है ) जो कम्पनी अधिनियम, 1956 के अंतर्गत एक सार्वजनिक मर्यादित कम्पनी है, और जिसका पंजीकृत कार्यालय सिंदिया कालोनी , सर एम. बी. रोड , अन्धेरी , मुम्बई-400069 है, का निदेशक बोर्ड आईसीआईसीआई , भारत सरकार द्वारा उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 10 के अंतर्गत नियुक्त निदेशकों से संगठित है ;
और यतः उक्त निदेशक बोर्ड पर श्री डी. ए. बिवलकर की अवधि बढ़ाने का निर्णय किया जाता है ।
अतः अब, उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 10 के उपबन्धों का अनुकरण करते हुए परिवर्तन को प्रभावी बनाने के लिए एतद्वारा यह आदेश दिया जाता है एवं घोषणा की जाती है किः
श्रीडी. ए, बिवलकर, अध्यक्ष व व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक, सिंदिया स्टीम नेविगेशन कम्पनी लिमिटेड के पद की अवधि मार्च 26, 2007 से अगले 12 महीनों के लिए बढ़ाई गई है अथवा इस दौरान किसी नए आदेश के जारी होने तक नियुक्त किया जाता है ।
यह आदेश मार्च 26 , 2007 से प्रभावी हो जाएगा ।

ORDER
Mumbai , the 12th March, 2007
ICICI/ SEC . 10.-Whereas , ICICI Bank Limited (hereinafter referred to as " ICICI " ) is the " designated person" of the Central Government within the meaning of Section 16of the SDFC ( Abolition) Act, 1986 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act" ) ;
And whereas, ICICI , as designated person, is entitled and has decided to exercise various special powers under the provisions of Chapter III of the said 'Act;
And whereas, the Board of Directors (hereinafter referred to as " the said Board " ) of The Scindia Steam Navigation Company Limited ( hereinafter referred to as "the said Company " ) , a public company within the meaning of the Companies Act, 1956 and having its Registered Office at Scindia Colony, Sir MV Road, Andheri (East ) , Mumbai - 400069, is constituted ofDirectors who have been appointed by ICICI /Central Government in terms of Section 10 of the said Act; Director. And whereas , it has been decided to extend the appointment of Shri DA Biwalkar as the Chairman and Managing
Now, therefore, in order to give effect to the aforesaid change , in pursuance of the provisions of Section 10 of the said Act, it is hereby ordered and declared that:
The appointment of Shri D. A. Biwalkar as the Chairman and Managing Director of Scindia Steam Navigation Company Limited has been extended for further period of 12 months w.c.f. March 26, 2007 or until further orders . whichever is earlier .
All other remaining Directors will continue in office unless notified otherwise .
This Order shall come into force with effect from March 26 , 2007 .
