पांडिचेरी ( नाम परिवर्तन ) विधि अनुकूलन आदेश , 2007
सा.का.नि. 628( अ ).-केन्द्रीय सरकार , पांडिचेरी (नाम-परिवर्तन ) अधिनियम, 2006 ( 2006 का 44) की धारा 8 की उप -धारा ( 1 ) के अधीन आदेश द्वारा 1 अक्तूबर , 2006 के पूर्व बनाई गई किसी विधि के ऐसे अनुकूलन और उपांतरणों को करने के लिए सशक्त है , जो संघ राज्यक्षेत्र पांडिचेरी के नाम के परिवर्तन को प्रभावी करने के प्रयोजन के लिए आवश्यक या समीचीन है;
अतः , अब , केन्द्रीय सरकार , उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 8 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, निम्नलिखित आदेश करती है, अर्थात्: -
1. ( 1 ) इस आदेश का संक्षिप्त नाम पांडिचरी ( नाम परिवर्तन ) विधि अनुकूलन आदेश , 2007 है ।
(2 ) यह 1 अक्तूबर , 2006 को प्रवृत्त हुआ समझा जाएगा ।
2. साधारण खंड अधिनियम , 1897 ( 1897 का 10 ) इस आदेश के निर्वचन के लिए उसी प्रकार लागू होगा जैसे यह केन्द्रीय अधिनियम के निर्वचन के लिए लागू होता है।
3. इस आदेश की अनुसूची में, उल्लिखित विधियां जब तक संसद या अन्य सक्षम प्राधिकारी द्वारा परिवर्तित , निरसित या संशोधित नहीं कर दी जाती , उस अनुसूची द्वारा निदेशित अनुकूलन और उपांतरणों के अध्यधीन प्रभावी होंगी।

be necessary or expedient for the purpose of giving effect to the alteration of the name of the Union Territory of Pondicherry;

Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 8 of the said Act , the Central Government hereby makes the following Order , namely:-
भारतीय पशु- चिकित्सा परिषद् अधिनियम , 1984 (1984 का 52)
1. (1) This Order may be called the Pondicherry (Alteration of Name ) Adaptation of Laws Order , 2007 .
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1stday of October , 2006 .

2. The General Clauses Act, 1897 ( 10 of 1897) shall apply for the interpretation of this Order as it applies for the interpretation of a Central Act.
