अंतर्विष्ट ऊपरी भाग में हिन्दी में " भारत " शब्द और अंग्रेजी में " INDIA" शब्द होगा । निचले भाग में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अंकों में वर्ष होगा ।

का.आ. 1751( अ ) केन्द्रीय सरकार , सिक्का निर्माण अधिनियम , 1906 ( 1906 का 3 ) की धारा 6 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , निम्नलिखित सिक्के के अंकित मूल्य, विमाओं, डिजाइन और संरचना को अवधारित करती है , अर्थात्:-
सिक्के के इस भाग पर केन्द्र की दायीं परिधि पर हमारे देश के विख्यात शास्त्रीय नृत्य " भरत नाट्यम " की एक " मुद्रा " को दर्शित करने वाला दृश्यरूपण होगा और केन्द्र की बाईं परिधि पर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अंकों में अंकित मूल्य " 1 " होगा और नीचे हिन्दी में " रुपए " शब्द और अंग्रेजी में " RUPEES " शब्द होगा ।
[फा. सं. 2/3/98-सिक्का- II ] अशोक अजमानी , अवर सचिव (क) " नृत्य मुद्रा " की विषय वस्तु के साथ केन्द्रीय सरकार के प्राधिकार के अधीन जारी करने के लिए टकसाल में एक रुपए अंकित मूल्य के सिक्के का निर्माण भी किया जाएगा , अर्थात्:
MINISTRY OF FINANCE ( ख ) एक रुपए के अंकित मूल्य का सिक्का नीचे सारणी में यथाविनिर्दिष्ट विमाओं , डिजाइन और संरचना के अनुरूप होगा अर्थात्

S.O. 1751 (E) .- In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 6 of the Coinage Act, 1906(3 of 1906), the Central Government hereby determines the denomination, dimension, design and composition of the following coin, namely:-
फेरिटिक स्टेनलैस स्टील- लोहा - 83% क्रोमियम - 17%
गोल 25मिलीमीटर (एकल धातु)
निम्नलिखित डिजाइनों के अनुरूप
(ग) एक रुपए का सिक्का होगा, अर्थात्:-
(a) the coin of One Rupee denomination with the theme " NRITYA MUDRA " shall also be coinedat the Mint for issue under the authority ofthe Central Government;
(i ) मुख भाग
(b) the coin of One Rupee denomination shall conform to the following dimension , design and composition, as specified in the Table below namely:-
सिक्के के मुख भाग दो क्षैतिज रेखाओं द्वारा तीन भागों में विभक्त होगा । केन्द्र भाग पर " अशोक स्तंभ " का सिंह शीर्ष होगा जिसके नीचे "सत्यमेव जयते " इबारत अंतर्लिखित होगी । 4204 GI/2007

(c) the coin of One Rupee shall conform to the following designs , namely:-
(i) OBVERSE
This face of the coin is divided into three portions with two horizontal lines . The center portion shall bear the "Lion Capitol " of Ashoka Pillar with the legend "सत्यमेव जयते" inscribed below .
The top portion contains word " भारत " in Hindi and " INDIA" in English. The bottom portion contains the Year in International Numerals;
( ii) REVERSE
This face of the coin contain visuals showing of one of the "MUDRAS " of India's most famous classical dance , "Bharat Natyam " , in center right periphery and in center left periphery denomination value " 1 " in International Numerals , below that the word "रुपये" in Hindi and the word "RUPEE" in English .
