का.आ. 1752( अ ).-केन्द्रीय सरकार , सिक्का निर्माण अधि नियम, 1906 ( 1906 का 3 ) की धारा 6 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , पांच रुपए के सिक्के का अंकित मूल्य , विमाएं, डिजाइन और संरचना अवधारित करती है , जो निम्नलिखित रूप में होंगे , अर्थात्:-
(क ) फेरेटिक स्टेनलेस स्टील के पांच रुपए अंकित मूल्य के सिक्के का " खादी और ग्रामोद्योग आयोग की स्वर्ण जयंती " के अवसर पर स्मरणोत्सव मनाने के लिए केन्द्रीय सरकार के प्राधिकार के अधीन जारी करने के लिए टकसालों में निर्माण किया जाएगा;
(ख ) पांच रुपए अंकित मूल्य का सिक्का, नीचे दी गई सारणी में यथाविनिर्दिष्ट रूप में निम्नलिखित विमाओं और संरचना के अनुरूप होगा:-

( ग ) पांच रुपये का सिक्का निम्नलिखित डिजाइन के अनुरूप होगा:
(i) मुख भाग : सिक्के के मुख भाग पर अशोक स्तंभ का सिंह शीर्ष होगा जिसके नीचे

"सत्यमेव जयते " इबारत अंतर्लिखित होगी , उसकी बायीं ऊपरी परिधि पर हिन्दी में " भारत " शब्द और दायीं ऊपरी परिधि पर अंग्रेजी में " INDIA" शब्द होगा । और निचली बायीं परिधि पर हिन्दी में " रुपए " शब्द सहित और निचली दायीं परिधि पर अंग्रेजी में " RUPEES " शब्द सहित सिंह शीर्ष के नीचे अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अंकों में अंकित मूल्य " 5 " भी होगा । परिधि पर 52 मनके होंगे ।
(ii) पृष्ठ भाग: सिक्के के इस भाग पर केन्द्र में महात्मा गांधी की प्रतिकृति होगी और ऊपरी परिधि पर " खादी और ग्रामोद्योग आयोग " शब्दों सहित चरखा के साथ महिला और ग्राम दृश्य होगा; और उसके नीचे हिन्दी में " 50 वर्ष " होगा तथा निचली परिधि पर में अंग्रेजी में "GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRATION OF KHADIAND VILLAGE INDUSTRIES COMMISSION " तथा उसके ऊपर "50 YEARS" होंगे ।
(iii ) सुरक्षा किनारा : सिक्के का किनारा उसकी परिधि का सुरक्षा किनारा होगा । किनारे के मध्य में रिक्त जगहों द्वारा पृथक किए हुए दो खंडों के अंदर की ओर डिजाइन में उथला खांचा होगा । इस डिजाइन के उभार में मनकों की श्रृंखला अंतर्विष्ट होगी और प्रत्येक मनका उभार में झुकी हुई एक पंक्तिद्वारा अनुगम किए होगा । इसमें कुल 30 पंक्तियां और 30 मनके होंगे ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 4th October , 2007
S.O. 1752 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 6 of Coinage Act , 1906 (3 of 1906) , the Central Government hereby determines the denominations , dimensions , designs and composition of coin of Five Rupees , as follows , namely that :-
(a) the coin of Five Rupees denomination of Ferritic Stainless Steel shall be coined at the Mint for issue under the authority of the Central Government to commemorate of the occasion of " GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRA- TION OF KHADI AND VILLAGE INDUS- TRIES COMMISSION " ;
(b) the coin of Five Rupees denomination shall conformtothe following dimension , and com- position, as specified in the Table below:

(c) the coin of Five Rupees shall confirm the following designs : -
(i ) OBVERSE : This face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capital of Ashoka Pillar

with the legend " सत्यमेव जयते " inscribed below, flanked on the left upper periphery with the word " भारत " in Hindi and on the right upper periphery flanked with the word" India " in English . It shall also bear the denominational value " 5" ininternational numerals below the Lion Capital flanked on the left lower periph- ery with the word " रुपए " in Hindi and on the right lower periphery with the word "RUPEES " in English . There shall be 52 beads on the periphery ;
(ii) REVERSE:--This face of the coin shall
bear the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi at
the center and a lady with charkha and a
village scene , flanked on the upper
periphery with the words " खादी और
ग्रामोद्योग आयोग " , and " 50 वर्ष " below it
inHindi and on the lower periphery "GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRATION OF KHADI AND VILLAGE INDUSTRIES COMMISSION" and 50 YEARS " above itinEnglish.
(iii) SECURITY EDGE : ----The edge of the coin shall have security edge on periphery . At the center of the edge there shall be shallow groove with a design inside the two sections separated by blank spaces . This design shall consist ofchain of beads in relief and each bead being followed by one inclined line in relief . There shall be total 30 lines and 30 beads .
