का.आ. 1753( अ ) केन्द्रीय सरकार; सिक्का निर्माण अधिनियम , 1906 ( 1906 का 3 ) की धारा 7 के साथ पठित धारा 21 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात्:-
1. संक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारम्भ ( i ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम "लोकमान्य बाल गंगाधर तिलक की 150 वीं जयंती " के स्मरणोत्सव में पांच रुपये के सिक्कों का निर्माण नियम , 2007 है ।
(ii) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. मानक वजन तथा अनुज्ञात उपचार: सिक्का निर्माण अधिनियम की धारा 6 के उपबंधों के अधीन "लोकमान्य बाल गंगाधर तिलक की 150वीं जयंती " के अवसर पर स्मरणोत्सव में निर्मित किए गए 5 रु. के अंकित मूल्य के सिक्कों का मानक वजन और अनुज्ञात उपचार नीचे सारणी में यथाविनिर्दिष्ट रूप में होगा , अर्थात्:-

क्रोमियम के लिए 1 % की कमी

6.24 ग्राम तक अंतर हो. सकता है ।
बेशी अर्थात् क्रोमियम में 16% से
18% के बीच अंतर हो सकता है
तथा शेष लोहा।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 4th October , 2007
S.O. 1753 (E) .- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1) of Section 21 read with Section 7 of the Coinage Act , 1906 (3 of 1906) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules , namely: ----
1. Short -title and commencement :---( i ) These rules may be called the Coinage of the Five Rupees coined in commemoration of " 150TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF LOKMANYA BAL GANGADHAR TILAK" Rules , 2007.
(ii) They shall come into force on the dated of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Standard weight and Remedy allowed : The standard weight of the coin of five Rupee denomination coined under the provision of Section 6 of the Coinage Act , 1906 and the remedy allowed in the making of such coin to commemorate the occasion of " 150TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF LOKMANYA BAL GANGADHAR TILAK " shall be as specified in the Table below , namely :-

Plus or minus 4 % , that is to say, the weight could vary from 5.76 grams to6.24. grams .
