New Delhi, the 24th October, 2007

No. 73(RE-2007)/2004-2009

F. No 01/94/180/733/AM 08/PC-I.—In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 20 --2009, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in Handbook of Proce- dures, Vol.- (RE-2007) :—

1.Th following sub-para is added at the end of Para 3.20.1, Para 3.21.1, and Para 3.22.2 of Handbook of Procedure Vol.-I (RE- ):

" The above procedure shall be applicable only in respect of EDI enabled ports. However, in case of exports through no -1-EDI ports, separate application shall be filed consolidating all shipments for each port. Such application for no -EDI shipments shall not be treated as supplementary application even if periodicity (April-Sept. or Oct.- M ch periods) is repeated."

The following sub-para is added at the end of Para 3.23.3 of Handbook of Procedure, Vol.-I (RE-2007):--

"The above procedure shall be applicable only in respect of EDI enabled ports. In case of exports through non- EDI ports, the port of registration shall be the port of exports."

The following sub-para is added at the end of Para 3.23.4 of Handbook of Procedure, Vol.-I (RE-2007) :—

"The above procedure shall be applicable only in respect of EDI enabled ports. In case of exports through non- EMI ports, the facility of splits shall not be allowed, after issue of scrip."

This ssues in public interest.
