F. No. 01/84/162/572 'AM-08/DES-V.—In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign: Trade Policy, 2004-2009 and Paragraph 1.1 of Handbook of Procedures (Vol. 1), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following additions in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol. 2, 2004-2009, as amended.
2. In the General Note for Textiles (Product Code: J)
the following Note No. 20 maybe incorporated :—
General Note No. 20: Advance Authorization for export of Cotton Bed Linen, Bed Covers, Bed Sets, Pillow Covers, Cushion Covers under (SION at S.Nos. 3-1, J-28, J-30,1-40, J-49, J-73, J-91, J-108,1-109, J-119,1-123, J-129, 1-312, J-314, J-316 and J-347) shall not be permittedunder the generic entries for export of made-ups.
The earlier General Note No.16 and 17 issued vide Public Notice No. 52 (RE : 2007)/2004-2009 dated 27-9-2007 maybe amended to read as General Note No.18 and 19 respectively instead of General Note No. 16 and 17.
