सा.का.नि. 684(अ). केंद्रीय सरकार, सिक्का निर्माण अधिनियम , 1906 ( 1906 का 3 ) की धारा 7 के साथ पठित धारा 21 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात्:-
१. संक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारंभ, ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम " जगतगुरु श्री नारायणा गुरुदेव " के सम्मान में ढाले गए पांच रुपए के सिक्के का निर्माण नियम , 2007 है ।
(2) ये राजपत्र में उनके प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. मानक वजन और अनुज्ञात उपचार, पांच रुपए के सिक्के का मानक वजन , जिनका अंकित मूल्य " जगतगुरु श्री नारायणा गुरुदेव " के सम्मान में सिक्का निर्माण अधिनियम , 1906 ( 1906 का 3 ) की धारा 6 के उपबंधों के अधीन ढाला गया था और ऐसे सिक्कों को बनाने में अनुज्ञात उपचार वह होगा जो नीचे सारणी में विनिर्दिष्ट है :-

पांच रुपए
4 प्रतिशत तक कमी- बेशी अर्थात् वजन में 5.76 ग्राम से 6.24 ग्राम के बीच हो सकता है ।
क्रोमियम के लिए एक प्रतिशत कमी- बेशी अर्थात् क्रोमियम में 16 % और 18 % के बीच हो सकता है और शेष लोहा ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 23rd October, 2007
G.SR. 684(E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 21 read with Section 7 of the Coinage Act , 1906 ( 3 of 1906 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules , namely :-
1. Short title and commencement : ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Coinage of the Five Rupees coined in honour of " JAGAT GURU SREE NARAYANA GURDEV " Rules , 2007.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. Standard Weight and Remedy allowed: The Standard Weight of the coin of Five Rupee which denomination coined under the provisions of Section 6 of the Coinage Act, 1906 (3 of 1906 ) in the honour of " JAGAT GURU SREE NARAYANA GURDEV " and the remedy allowed in making of such coins shall be as specified in the Table below :-

Plus or minus for 1 % for Chromium that is to say Chromium may vary between 16% and 18 % and remainder Iron .
