का.आ. 1854( अ ).केन्द्रीय सरकार, सिक्का निर्माण अधि- नियम, 1906 ( 1906 का 3 ) की धारा 6 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, पांच रुपए के सिक्के के लिए निम्नलिखित विमाओं , डिजाइन , धातु या मिश्रित धातु को अवधारित करती है, अर्थात्:-
1. ( क) " जगतगुरु श्री नारायणा गुरुदेव " की स्मृति में जारी करने के लिए टकसाल में " जगतगुरु श्री नारायणा गुरुदेव " की विषयवस्तु के साथ पांच रुपये के अंकित मूल्य के सिक्के का टकसाल में निर्माण भी किया जाएगा;
(ख) पांच रुपये के अंकित मूल्य का सिक्का और उसकी सरंचना वह होगी जो नीचे सारणी में यथाविनिर्दिष्ट है , अर्थात्:

क्रोमियम 17 प्रतिशत हो ।
2. पांच रुपये का सिक्का निम्नलिखित डिजाइनों के अनुरूप होगा अर्थात्:-
मुख भाग:-सिक्के के मुख भाग पर केंद्र में अशोक स्तंभ का सिंह शीर्ष होगा जिसके नीचे " सत्यमेव जयते " इबारत अंतर्लिखित होगी , उसकी बायीं ऊपरी

परिधि में हिन्दी में " भारत " शब्द और ऊपरी दायीं परिधि में अंग्रेजी में " INDIA" शब्द होगा । इस पर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अंकों में अंकित मूल्य " 5 " भी होगा और निचली बायीं परिधि में हिन्दी में " रुपये " शब्द और निचली दायीं परिधि में अंग्रेजी में " RUPEES" शब्द होगा । उस पर परिधि में 72 ( बहत्तर ) बिंदु होंगे ।
पृष्ठ भाग:-पांच रुपये के सिक्के के पृष्ठ भाग पर "जगतगुरु श्री नारायणा गुरुदेव " की प्रतिकृति होगी और बाई ऊपरी परिधि में हिन्दी में " जगतगुरु श्री नारायणा गुरुदेव " शब्द और दायीं ऊपरी परिधि में अंग्रेजीमें " JAGAT GURU SREE NARAYANA GURUDEV" शब्द होंगे । परिधि में 72 ( बहत्तर ) बिंदु , होंगे ।
पांच रुपये के लिए सुरक्षा किनारा पांच रुपये के सिक्केका किनारा उसकी परिधि का सुरक्षा किनारा होगा । किनारे के मध्य में दो रिक्त जगह द्वारा पृथक दो खंडों की ओर डिजाइन उभरा खांचा होगा । इस डिजाइन में उभार में मनकों की श्रृंखला होगी और प्रत्येक मनके के पश्चात् उभार में एक झुकी हुई पंक्ति द्वारा अनुगम होगा । इसमें कुल तीस पंक्तियां और तीस मनके होंगे ।

Government hereby determines the following dimensions , designs , metal or mixed metals for the coins of Five Rupees , namely:-
(1) (a) the coin of Five Rupees denomination with the theme " JAGAT GURU SREE NARAYANA GURUDEV" shall also be coined at the Mint for issue to commemorate in honour of " JAGAT GURU SREE NARAYANA GURUDEV";
(b) the coin of Five Rupees denomination and composition, as specified in the Table below namely:-

2 The coin of Five Rupees shall conform to the following designs , namely :-
OBVERSE :-This face of the coin of Five
Rupee shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar with the legend " सत्यमेव जयते " inscribed below, flanked on the left upper periphery with the word " भारत " in Hindi and on the right upper periphery flanked with the word " INDIA" in English . It shall also bear the denominational value " 5 " in Interna- tional Numerals flanked on the left lower pe- riphery with the word " रुपये " in Hindi and right lower periphery with the word " RUPEES " in English . There shall be 72 (Seventy-two ) dots on the periphery .
REVERSE :-This face of the coin of Five Rupee shall bear the portrait of " JAGAT GURU SREE NARAYANA GURUDEV" flanked on the left upper periphery with the words "जगतगुरु श्री नारायणा गुरुदेव " in Hindi and onthe right upper periphery " JAGAT GURU SREE NARAYANA GURUDEV " in English . There shall be 72 ( Seventy - two) dots on the periphery.
SECURITY EDGE FOR FIVE RUPEES :-
The edge of the coin of Five Rupee shall have security edge on periphery . At the center of the edge there shall be shallow groove with a design inside the two sections separated by blank spaces . This design shall consist of chain of beads in relief and each bead being followed by one inclined line in relief. There shall be total 30 lines and 30beads .
