का.आ. 1.855(अ), भारत के राजपत्र , असाधारण , भाग II, खंड 3 , उप- खंड ( ii ) में दिनांक 31 अगस्त, 2007 को प्रकाशित भारत सरकार, गृह मंत्रालय की दिनांक 31 अगस्त, 2007 की अधिसूचना संख्या का.आ. 1487 ( अ ) , जिसमें सार्वजनिक महत्व के एक निश्चित मामले , अर्थात् दिनांक 6 दिसम्बर, 1992 को अयोध्या में राम जन्म भूमि- बाबरी मस्जिद ढांचे को गिराए जाने की जांच करने के लिए गठित जांच आयोग का कार्यकाल बढ़ाया गया था , के आंशिक संशोधन में यह निर्णय लिया गया है कि उक्त आयोग , अर्थात् लिबरहान अयोध्या जांच आयोग , अपनी रिपोर्ट 31 दिसम्बर, 2007 को या उससे पहले प्रस्तुत करेगा ।

S.O. 1855 (E) . In partial modification of the Notification ofthe Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs , No. S.O. 1487 (E), dated 31st August , 2007 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II , Section 3, Sub- section (ii ) , dated the 31st August, 2007 extending the tenure of the Commission of Inquiry , to inquire into a definite matter of public importance , namely, the destruction of Ram Janma Bhoomi- Babri Masjid structure at Ayodhya on the 6th December , 1992 , it has been decided that the said Commission , namely, the Liberhan Ayodhya Commission of Inquiry , will submit its report on or before the 31st December , 2007:
