का.आ. 1859(अ) .-पशुधन आयात अधिनियम, 1898 ( 1898 का 9 ) के खंड 3 के उप - खंड ( 1 ) और खंड 3 ए के द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्र सरकार एतद्वारा दिनांक 1 अगस्त, 2007 के संख्या का.आ. 1311 ( अ ) के तहत कृषि मंत्रालय ( पशुपालन , डेयरी और मत्स्यपालन विभाग ) में भारत सरकार की अधिसूचना में संशोधन करती है , जो इस प्रकार है :-
उक्त अधिनियम में प्रथम पैरा में , मद संख्या ( vii ) की जगह निम्नलिखित मद को शामिल किया जाए , नामतः :-
" ( vii ) जीवित सूअर एवं सूअर उत्पाद ( प्रसंस्कृत सूअर के बाल के अलावा) " ।
अधिसूचना के प्रकाशित होने की तारीख से यह अधिसूचना लागूहोगी ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 1st November , 2007
S.O. 1859 (E) .- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (1) of Section 3 and Section 3A of the Livestock Importation Act , 1898 (9 of 1898) , the Central Government hereby amends the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Agriculture (Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries) number S.O. 1311 (E) dated 1st August, 2007, as follows :-
In the said notification in the first paragraph , for item number (vii) , the following shall be substituted, namely:-
"(vii) live pig and pig products (except processed pigbristles)" .
This notification shall come into force from the date ofpublication of the notification .
