सा.का.नि. 690(अ) . भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो अधिनियम , 1986 ( 1986 का 63 ) की धारा 38 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो की कार्यकारी समिति , केन्द्रीय सरकार की पूर्व अनुमति से एतद्वारा भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो ( सलाहकार समितियां ) विनियम, 1987 में और आगे संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित विनियम बनाती है , अर्थात्:-
[फा. सं बीआईएस/ईसी/ आरईजी/ 1 ] सायन चटर्जी, महानिदेशक 1. ( 1 ) इन विनियमों को भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो ( सलाहकार समितियां ) संशोधन विनियम , 2007 कहा जाएगा ।
(2 ) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तिथि से लागू होंगे ।
2. भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो ( परामर्श समितियां ) विनियम , 1987 , विनियम 3 के उप - विनियम ( 2 ) की जगह निम्नलिखित रखा जाएगा :
" ( 2 ) प्रत्येक सलाहकार समिति एक अध्यक्ष और उतने सदस्यों से मिलकर बनेगी , जिन्हें ब्यूरो अपने सदस्यों में से नियुक्त करे, जैसा कि नीचे उपबंध किया गया है :-
टिप्पणी. मूल विनियम भारत के राजपत्र में सा.का.नि. 1032( अ ) , दिनांक 31 दिसम्बर , 1987 में प्रकाशित हुए थे और बाद में उनका सा.का.नि. 1016 ( अ ) , दिनांक 17 नवम्बर , 1989 , सा.का. नि. 818 ( अ ) , दिनांक 21 अक्तूबर , 1992, बीआईएस./ईसी/ आरईजी/ 1 दिनांक 20 मई , 1994 और सा.का. नि. 700 ( अ ) , दिनांक 1 दिसम्बर , 2005 द्वारा संशोधन हुआ था ।

G.S.R. 690 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 38 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act , 1986 (63 of 1986), the Executive Committee, with the previous approval of the Central Government , hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Bureau of Indian Standards (Advisory Committees) Regulations , 1987 , namely:-

1.(1) These regulations may be called the Bureau of Indian Standards (Advisory Committees ) Amendment Regulations , 2007.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication inthe Official Gazette .
i 2. In the Bureau of Indian Standards (Advisory Committees) Regulations , 1987 , the sub- regulation (2) of regulation 3 shall be substituted as under :-
"(2) Each Advisory Committee shall consist of a Chairman and such number of other members , to be appointed by the Bureau from amongst its members , as provided hereunder:-
( a) Financial Committee
(i) a Chairman ,
(ii) six other members;
(b) Certification Advisory Committee
(i) a Chairman ,
(ii) six other members ;
(c) Standards Advisory Committee
( i) a Chairman,
(ii) nine other members ;

(d) Laboratory Advisory Committee
(i) a Chairman,
(ii) six other members ;
(e) Planning and Development Advisory Committee
(i) a Chairman ,
