S.O. 1895(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 295 read with sub- clause ( ii) of clause (14) of Section 10 of the Income- tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961 ), the Central Board of Direct Taxes hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Income- tax Rules , 1962, namely:--
का.आ. 1895(अ).-केन्द्रीय प्रत्यक्ष कर बोर्ड, आय- कर अधिनियम , 1961 ( 1961 का 43 ) की धारा 10 के खंड ( 14 ) के उप -खंड ( ii ) के साथ पठित धारा 295 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए आय - कर नियम , 1962 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाता है , अर्थात्:
1. (1) These rules may be called the Income- tax (Thirteenth Amendment) Rules , 2007.
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नियम आय-कर ( तेहरवाँ संशोधन ) नियम , 2007 है ।
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
(2) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. In the Income-tax Rules , 1962, in Part II, in rule 2BB, in sub- rule (2), in the Table , against serial number 12, incolumn 2 relating to name of allowance , the word " coal " shall be omitted.
2. आय -कर नियम , 1962 के भाग II में, नियम 2खख के उप- नियम (2 ) में भत्तों के नाम से संबंधित सारणी के स्तंभ 2 के क्रम संख्यांक 12 के सामने , " कोयला " शब्द का लोप किया जाएगा ।

969 , तारीख 26 मार्च , 1962 द्वारा प्रकाशित किए गए थे और अंतिम बार अधिसूचना सं. का.आ. 1805 (अ ) , तारीख 23-10-2007 द्वारा उन्हें संशोधित किया गया था ।
Note. The principal rules were published in the Gazette ofIndia vide notification number S.O. 969 , dated the 26th March, 1962 and was last amended vide notification No. S.O. 1805 (E) , dated the 23rd October , 2007.
