का.आ. 1910(अ) , समय- समय पर यथा संशोधित , विदेश व्यापार नीति, 2004-2009 , के पैरा 1.3 के साथ पठित विदेश व्यापार (विकास और विनियमन ) अधिनियम , 1992 की धारा 5 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्र सरकार एतद्वारा विदेश व्यापार नीति, 2004-2009 ( आरई -2006 ) में निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है :-
2. विदेश व्यापार नीति के पैरा 2.31 के अन्त में निम्नलिखित वाक्य जोड़ा जाता है :-
" तथापि, शासकीय तैनाती पर विदेश जाने वाले भारत सरकार के अधिकारियों को अपने निजी सामान के साथ केवल अपने निजी उपयोग के लिए खाद्य पदार्थ ( मुक्त, प्रतिबंधित या निषिद्ध) ले जाने की अनुमति होगी । "
3. इसे लोकहित में जारी किया जाता है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th November , 2007
No. 48 (RE- 2007)/2004-2009
S.O. 1910 (E) . In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade ( Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 1.3 of the Foreign Trade Policy ( FTP) , 2004-2009 , as amended, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in FTP, 2004-2009 (RE -2006) .
2. The following sentence stands added at the end ofparagraph 2.31 of FTP:--
"Government of India officials proceeding abroad onofficial postings shall , however , be permitted to carry alongwith their personal baggage , food items (free, restricted or prohibited) strictly for their personal consumption . "
3. This issues in Public interest .
