सा.का.नि. 725 ( अ ).-प्राचीन संस्मारक तथा पुरातत्वीय स्थल और अवशेष नियम , 1959 का और संशोधन करने के लिए कतिपय नियमों का निम्नलिखित प्रारूप जिसे केन्द्रीय सरकार , प्राचीन संस्मारक तथा पुरातत्वीय स्थल और अवशेष अधिनियम , 1958 ( 1958 का 24 ) की धारा 38 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए बनाना चाहती है , उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 38 की उप - धारा ( i ) की अपेक्षानुसार ऐसे सभी व्यक्तियों की, जिनके उससे प्रभावित होने की संभावना है , जानकारी के लिए एतद्वारा प्रकाशित किया जाता है , और एतद्वारा यह सूचना दी जाती है कि उक्त प्रारूप संशोधन नियमों पर, सरकारी राजपत्र में अन्तर्विष्ट इस अधिसूचना के प्रकाशन की तिथि से 60 दिनों की अवधि के समाप्त होने पर , विचार किया जाएगा ।
इस अधिसूचना के प्रकाशन की तिथि से 60 दिन की अवधि समाप्त होने से पहले उक्त प्रारूप नियम के संबंध में किसी व्यक्ति से प्राप्त की गई किसी भी आपत्ति या सुझाव पर केन्द्रीय सरकार द्वारा विचार किया जाएगा ।
आपत्तियां या सुझाव महानिदेशक, भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण , संस्कृति मंत्रालय , जनपथ , नई दिल्ली को भेजे जाएं ।.
प्रारूप नियम
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों को प्राचीन संस्मारक तथा पुरातत्वीय स्थल और अवशेष ( संशोधन ) नियम, 2007 कहा जाएगा ।
(2) ये नियम सरकारी राजपत्र में अन्तिम प्रकाशन की तारीख से प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. प्राचीन संस्मारक तथा पुरातत्वीय स्थल और अवशेष नियमावली , 1959 के नियम 6 में,-
(i ) खण्ड ( क) में मद ( i ) के लिए निम्नलिखित प्रतिस्थापित किए जाएंगे , मुख्यतः
( i ) " भारत के नागरिक और सार्क देशों ( बांग्लादेश , नेपाल , भूटान , श्रीलंका, पाकिस्तान, मालदीव तथा अफगानिस्तान ) और बिम्सटेक देशों ( बांग्लादेश , नेपाल , भूटान , श्रीलंका , थाइलैण्ड और म्यांमार ) के पर्यटक 10 रुपए प्रति व्यक्ति" (ii ) खण्ड ( ख ) में मद ( i ) के लिए निम्नलिखित प्रतिस्थापित किए जाएंगे, मुख्यतः
" ( i ) भारत के नागरिक और सार्क देशों ( बांग्लादेश , नेपाल , भूटान , श्रीलंका , पाकिस्तान , मालदीव तथा अफगानिस्तान ) और बिम्सटेक देशों ( बांग्लादेश, नेपाल , भूटान , श्रीलंका , थाइलैण्ड और म्यांमार ) के पर्यटक 5 रुपए प्रति व्यक्ति "

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 20th November , 2007
G.S.R. 725 (E) . The following draft of certain rules further to amend the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Rules , 1959, which the Central Government proposes to make in exercise of the powerswers conferred by Section 38 of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act , 1958 (24 of 1958) , is hereby published, as required by sub- section (i) of Section 38 of the said Act for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft amendment rules will be taken into consideration on or after the expiry of a period of sixty days from the date of publication of the Official Gazette containing this notification .
Any objection or suggestion which may be received from any person in respect of the said draft rule before the expiry of sixty days from the date of publication of this notification will be considered by the Central Government .
Objections or suggestions may be sentto the Director General , Archaeological Survey of India , Ministry of Culture, Janpath. NewDelhi .
DRAFT RULES
1. (1) These rules may be called the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains (Amendment ) Rules, 2007.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette .
2 Inthe Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Rules , 1959 in rule 6,-
(i) in clause (a) for item (i) , the following shall be substituted, namely:-
(
i) "Citizens of India and visitors of SAARC
(Bangladesh, Nepal , Bhutan , Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Maldives and Afghanistan) and BIMSTEC Countries (Bangladesh , Nepal , Bhutan , Sri Lanka , Thailand and Myanmar) .-Rs . 10/-per head"
(ii) in clause (b) for item (i ), the following shall be substituted , namely :-
"(i) Citizens of India and visitors of SAARC
