विषय : गैर बासमती चावल के निर्यात पर निषेध-न्यूनतम निर्यात मूल्य
का.आ. 2120( अ ) विदेश व्यापार नीति, 2004-2009, के पैरा 1.3 और पैरा 2.1 के साथ पठित विदेश व्यापार ( विकास और विनियमन ) अधिनियम , 1992 ( 1992 की सं. 22) के अनुच्छेद 3 ( 2 ) के साथ पठित धारा 5 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केन्द्र सरकार , एतद्वारा यथा संशोधित अधिसूचना सं. 38 (आरई-2007 )/2004-2009 दिनांक15-10-2007 (गैर बासमती चावल के निर्यात पर निषेध से संबंधित ) के पैराग्राफ 2.3 के पहले वाक्य को तत्काल प्रभाव से निम्नलिखित रूप से प्रतिस्थापित करती है :-
2. पैराग्राफ 2.3 का मौजूदा पहला वाक्य :-
" 2.3 इसके अतिरिक्त , इस अधिसूचना द्वारा लगाया गया निषेध गैर -बासमती चावल के निर्यात पर लागू नहीं होगा यदि न्यूनतम निर्यात मूल्य ( एमईपी ) 425 अमरीकी डॉलर प्रति टन पोत पर्यन्त निःशुल्क मूल्य से अधिक हो । "
3. पैराग्राफ 2.3 का प्रतिस्थापित पहला वाक्य :-
" 2.3 इसके अतिरक्त, इस अधिसूचना द्वारा लगाया गया निषेध गैर- बासमती चावल के निर्यात पर लागू नहीं होगा यदि न्यूनतम निर्यात मूल्य ( एमईपी ) 425 अमरीकी डॉलर प्रति टन पोत पर्यन्त निःशुल्क मूल्य या 17000 रु. प्रति टन पोत पर्यन्त निःशुल्क मूल्य से अधिक हो । "
4. इसे लोकहित में जारी किया जाता है ।

Subject : Prohibition on export of non - basmati rice- Minimum Export Price
S.O. 2120 (E ) . In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 read with Section 3 (2 ) of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) and read with Para 1.3 and Para 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009 , the Central Government hereby substitutes with immediate effect the first sentence of Paragraph 2.3 of Notification No. 38 (RE- 2007)/2004-2009, dated 15-10-2007 (pertaining to prohibition on export of non -basmati rice) as amended , as follows: ---
2.Existing first sentence of Paragraph 2.3 :--
" 2.3 Further , the prohibition imposed by this Notification shall not be applicable to the export of non-basmati rice if the Minimum Export Price (MEP) ismore than US $ 425 per ton FOB . "
3. Substituted first sentence of Paragraph 2.3 :-
" 2.3 Further , the prohibition imposed by this Notification shall not be applicable to the export of non-basmati rice if the Minimum Export Price (MEP) is more than US$ 425 per ton FOB or Rs . 17,000 per ton FOB . "
4. This issues in Public Interest .
