का.आ. 2138 ( अ ) सीमा शुल्क अधिनियम , 1962 की धारा 8 ( बी ) के अधीन प्रदत्त शक्तियों को प्रयोग करते हुए , मैं , अरविन्दसिंह , आयुक्त, सीमा शुल्क मंगलूर , दिनांक 21-09-1974 कीअधिसूचना संख्या 2/74 , दिनांक 3-02-2005 की अधिसूचना सं. 02/2005 और दिनांक 13-02-2007की अधिसूचना सं. 01/2007 जो क्रमशः समाहर्ता, सीमा शुल्क बेंगलूर और आयुक्त सीमा शुल्क मंगलूर द्वारा जारी किया गया था उनको अधिक्रमण करते हुए, एतद्वारा , स्थानीय रूप से पनंबुर नाम से माने जाने वाले स्थान में स्थित न्यू मंगलूर के मेजर पोर्ट के निम्नलिखित परिक्षेत्र को सीमा शुल्क परिक्षेत्र के रूप में विनिर्दिष्ट करता हूँ ।
नीचे विनिर्दिष्टत सीमाओं के अंदर , बेर्त 1 से 14 तक और लगून से युक्त 885 एकड़ की जमीन + 14.93 एकड़ ( जो दिनांक 3-02-2005 की अधिसूचना सं. 2/2005 द्वारा अनधिसूचित किया गया था ) जो कुल 899.93 एकड़ के होते हैं , उसके साथ परिक्षेत्र निहित है ।
नये मंगलूर पोर्ट के सीमा शुल्क परिक्षेत्र की सोमाएँ निम्न प्रकार है ।
उत्तर : नये मंगलूर पोर्ट के सुरक्षा कम्पाउन्ड दीवार जो के. के. गेट से युक्त है और जो पनंबुर बीच और एन. ए.च. 17 को जुड़ाने वाले बिटुमेन रोड के बगल में जाती है जिसको सामान्य रूप में कूरी कट्टा गेट ( के. के. गेट ) बीच रोड के नाम से जाना जाता है ।
दक्षिण : के.आई.ओ.सी.एल प्लांट का कम्पाउंड वॉल जिसके आगे सिलवर जुबिली गेट से युक्त नये मंगलूर पोर्ट के सुरक्षा कम्पाउंड वॉल । सुरक्षा कम्पाउंड वॉल के बाहर कूलूर

तन्नीरबावी बिटुमिनस रोड जाता है और कम्पाउंड वॉल के बगल में बाहर आई ओ सी एल टैंक फार्म भी स्थित है और गुरुपुर नदी बिटुमिनस रोड के बगल में बहती है ।
पूर्व : नेशनल हाईवे 17 के बगल में जाने वाली यू एस मल्ल्या गेट से युक्त एक सुरक्षा कम्पाउंड वॉल जो नये मंगलूर पोर्ट के अंदर से जाती है ।
पश्चिमः नये मंगलूर पोर्ट के बाहर दक्षिण कोने तक एक सुरक्षा कम्पाउंड वॉल जिसके बाहर अरेबियन समुद्र स्थित है । समुद्रीय जल मार्ग मध्य में स्थित है जो अंदर स्थित लैगून को पश्चिम में स्थित अरेबियन समुद्र से जोड़ती है । उत्तर कोने में नये मंगलूर पोर्ट के सुरक्षा कम्पाउंड वॉल और 60,000 वर्ग मीटर के पट्टे में दी गयी जमीन जो चैन लिंग फेंसिंग से युक्त है । बाहर , पनंबुर बीच रोड से सिगनल स्टेशन को जाने वाली रास्ता कम्पाउंड वॉल के बगल में जाती है । रोड के पश्चिम भाग में समुद्र तटीय सुरक्षा दल के कार्यालय , सीवेज ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट और सिगनल स्टेशन स्थित हैं जिनके आगे अरबिक समुद्र स्थित है ।
उपर्युक्त सीमाओं से युक्त कम्पाउंड वॉल का चित्र अधिसूचना के साथ संलग्नित है । उपर्युक्त सीमाओं को संलग्नित चित्र में " XXXXXXX" के रूप में दिखाया गयां है ।

S.O. 2138 (E) . In exercise ofthe powers eonferred upon me under Section 8(b) of the Customs Act, 1962 , I , Arvind Singh , Commissioner of Customs , Mangalore in supersession of the Notification No. 2/74 dated 21-09-1974, NotificationNo. 02/2005 dated 03-02-2005 and Notification

No. 01/2007 dated 13-02-2007 issued by the Collector of Customs , Bangalore and Commissioner Customs , Mangalore respectively, hereby specify the following premises ofthe Major Port of New Mangalore situated in a place locally called as Panambur as Customs Area .
The area inside the boundaries specified below comprising a land area measuring 885 Acres + 14.93 Acres (whichwas de- notified vide Notification No. 02/2005 dated (03-02-2005) , in total 899.93 Acres including the berths from No. 01 to 14 and the lagoon .
The boundaries of the Customs area of New Mangalore Port are as follows :-
North Side A security compound wall of the New Mangalore Port having K. K. Gate running inside along the Bituminous road connecting the NH 17 and the Panambur Beach, commonly known as Koori Katta Gate (K. K. Gate ) Beach Road.
South Side A security compound wall of KIOCL Piant continued by the Security compound wall of the New Mangalore Port having Silver Juhilee gate . Kulur - Thaneerbavi Bituminous Road is running outside the security wall and IOCL Tank farm is also situated adjacent to the compound wall on

outside . Also , Gurupur River is flowing adjacent to the Bituminous Road .
EastSide :A security compound wall of the New Mangalore Port having U.S. Mallya gate running inside along the National Highway 17.
West Side Along the South end a security compound wall of the New Mangalore Port outside of which is situated Arabian Sea. The sea-water channel is situated in the middle connecting Arabian Sea in the West with the Lagoon inside . Along the North end security compound wall ofthe New Mangalore Port . On outside , a road leading to signal station from Panambur Beach Road is running along the Compound wall . On Western side of the road are situated Coast Guard Office , SewageTreatment Plant and Signal Station beyond which is situated Arabian Sea .
Drawing showing the compound wall with the above boundaries is enclosed to this Notification . The above boundaries are marked "XXXXXXX " in the enclosed drawing.
