आ,अ. 139( अ ).-लोक प्रतिनिधित्व अधिनियम, 1951 ( 1951 का 43 ) की धारा 22 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , निर्वाचन आयोग , इसके द्वारा दिनांक 18 मार्च , 2004 की अपनी अधिसूचना संख्या 434/बिहार -लो.स. /2004( 2 ) और समय -समय पर यथा - संशोधित नियुक्त, अधिकारियों के अतिरिक्त नीचे की सारणी के स्तंभ ( 2 ) में विनिर्दिष्ट सरकार के प्रत्येक अधिकारी को ऐसे अधिकारियों को, ऐसे अधिकारियों के सामने उक्त सारणी के स्तंभ ( 1 ) में यथा- विनिर्दिष्ट बिहार राज्य में संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के रिटर्निंग ऑफिसर की बिहार राज्य में लोक सभा के उप - चुनाव के दौरान मतों की गणना में सहायता करने के लिए सहायक रिटर्निंग ऑफिसर के रूप में नियुक्त करता है :-

उक्त अतिरिक्त सहायक रिटर्निंग ऑफिसर के रूप में उपर्युक्त अधिकारियों की नियुक्ति, संबंधित संसदीय निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में मतों की गणना सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न होने पर प्रभावी नहीं रहेगी ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 10th December, 2007
O.N. 139(E) . In exercise of the power conferred by Sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 22 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951 ) , the Election Commission hereby appoints , in addition to the officers appointed by its notification No. 434/ BR-HP/2004 (2 ) , dated 18th March , 2004, as amended from time to time, each of the officers of the Government of Bihar as specified in column (2) of the table below as Assistant Returning Officer to assist the Returning Officer of the Parliamentary Constituency in the State ofBihar as specified in column ( 1 ) of the said table against such officers of the Government in counting of votes during the ensuing Bye- election to the Lok Sabha 2007 in the Bihar State .
