No. 17015/ 8/2007 - RI Cell .-In continuation with the Government of India resolution No. 17015/ 18/2003- SCD VI dated 9-9-2004, the term ofthe National Commission for Safai Karamcharis is extended for a further period from 01-01-2008 to 31-03-2009 to review the implementation of programmes and schemes meant for social and economic rehabilitation of the manual scavengers .
