सा.का.नि. 2( अ ) कंन्द्रीय सरकार, स्वापक औषधि और मनःप्रभावी पदार्थ अधिनियम , 1985 ( 1985 का 61 ) की धारा 8 और धारा 9 के साथ पठित धारा 76 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, स्वापक औषधि और मनःप्रभावी पदार्थ नियम , 1985 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है , अर्थात्: -
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम स्वापक औषधि और मनःप्रभावी पदार्थ ( संशोधन ) नियम , 2007 है ।
(2 ) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. स्वापक औषधि और मनःप्रभावी पदार्थ नियम , 1985 में, नियम 66 के उप - नियम ( 2 ) के दूसरे परंतुक में " अपने व्यक्तिगत लम्बी अवधि के चिकित्सीय उपयोग के लिए एक समय में एक सौ खुराक यूनिट से अधिक " शब्दों के पश्चात् और " मात्रा रख - सकेगा " से पूर्व " किन्तु एक समय में तीन सौ खुराक से अनधिक " शब्द अंतःस्थापित किए जाएंगे ।

MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 1st January , 2008
G.S.R. 2( E ). In exercise of the powers conferred by Section76 read with Sections 8 and 9 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act . 1985 ( 61 of 1985 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act , 1985 , namely :---
1. ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances ( Amendment ) Rules . 2007 .
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Gazette of India.
2. in the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Rules, 1985 , in the second proviso to sub- rule (2) of Rule 66. after the words "the quantity of exceeding one hundred dosage units at a time " and before the words "for his personal long term medical use " , the words " but not exceeding three hundred dosage units at a time " shall be inserted .
