सा.का.नि. 3( अ ).-भारत सरकार के दिनांक 28-9-2007 की अधिसूचना सं. का.आ. 1684 ( अ ) के क्रम में ग्रामीण विकास मंत्रालय ने राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण रोजगार गारंटी अधिनियम , 2005 ( 2005 का 42 ) की धारा 2 की उपधारा ( ओ ) के साथ पठित धारा । की उपः धारा ( 3 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए । अप्रैल , 2008 की तारीख, जिस दिन उपर्युक्त अधिनियम राज्यों/संघ राज्य क्षेत्रों में विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में लागू होगा , जैसा कि उक्त अधिसूचना की अनुसूची में दर्शाया गया है , नियत करते हुए इसे जारी किया । नीचे दी गई अनुसूची में यथाविनिर्दिष्ट क्षेत्र भी शामिल किए जा सकते हैं :-

New Delhi , the 31st December , 2007
G.S.R. 3 ( E) .---In continuation of Notification No. S. O. 1684( L) dated 28-9-2007 of the Government of India , Ministry of Rural Development issued in exercise of the powers conferredby Sub - section (3 ) of Section 1 read with Sub-section (o) of Section 2 of the National Rural Employment Guarantee Act , 2005 (42 of 2005) , appointing the 1stday ofApril, 2008 as the date on which the said Act shall come into force in the different arcas in the States/ Union Territories as indicated in the Schedule to the said notification , the areas as specified in the schedule given below may also be included :-
