सा.का.नि. 23 ( अ )-केन्द्रीय सरकार , अखिल भारतीय सेवा अधिनियम , 1951 ( 1951 का 61 ) की धारा 3 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए संबद्ध राज्यों से परामर्श करने के पश्चात् भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (वेतन ) नियम, 2007 का संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है , अर्थात्:-
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा ( वेतन ) संशोधन नियम, 2007 है ।
(2) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे।
2. भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा ( वेतन ) नियम, 2007 के नियम 3 के उप- नियम ( 1 ) के प्रथम परंतुक में " सेवा के 16 वर्ष " शब्दों और अंकों के स्थान पर " सेवा के 14 वर्ष " शब्द और अंक रखे जाएंगे ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 10th January , 2008
G.S.R. 23 (E). In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 3 of the All India Services Act , 1951 (61 of 1951 ) , the Central Government , after consultation with the Governments of the States concerned . hereby makes the following rules to amend the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Rules , 2007, namely :- ..
1. (1) These rules may be called the Indian Administrative Service (Pay ) Amendment Rules , 2007
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In the Indian Administrative Service ( Pay ) Rules, 2007, in rule 3 , in sub -rule ( 1 ) , in the first proviso for the words " sixteen years of service " the words "fourteen years of service " shall be substituted.
