नई दिल्ली, 15 जनवरी , 2008
सा.का.नि. 37( अ ), प्राचीन संस्मारक तथा पुरातत्वीय स्थल और अवशेष नियम , 1959 का और संशोधन करने के लिए कतिपय नियमों का निम्नलिखित प्रारूप जिसे केन्द्रीय सरकार , प्राचीन संस्मारक तथा पुरातत्वीय स्थल और अवशेष अधिनियम , 1958 ( 1958 का 24) की धारा 38 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए बनाना चाहती है, उक्त धारा की उप- धारा ( i ) की अपेक्षानुसार ऐसे सभी व्यक्तियों की, जिनके उससे प्रभावित होने की संभावना है , जानकारी के लिए एतद्वारा प्रकाशित किया जाता है , और एतद्वारा यह सूचना दी जाती है कि उक्त प्रारूप नियम सरकारी राजपत्र में इस अधिसूचना के प्रकाशन की तिथि से दो सप्ताह की अवधि के समाप्त होने पर , प्रभावी होंगे जिसकी प्रतियां सभी टिकटेड स्मारकों के नोटिस बोडों में चिपका दी गई हैं तथा सभी संबंधित एजेंसियों को सूचनार्थ परिचालित कर दी गई हैं ।
उपरोक्त विनिर्दिष्ट अवधि के समाप्त होने से पहले उक्त प्रारूप नियम के संबंध में किसी व्यक्ति से प्राप्त की गई किसी भी आपत्ति या सुझाव पर केन्द्रीय सरकार द्वारा विचार किया जाएगा !
आपत्तियां या सुझाव महानिदेशक , भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण , संस्कृति मंत्रालय , जनपथ , नई दिल्ली 110001 को भेजे जाएं ।
नियम
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों को प्राचीन संस्मारक तथा पुरातत्वीय स्थल और अवशेष ( संशोधन ) नियम , 2008 कहा जाएगा ।
(2) ये नियम सरकारी राजपत्र में अन्तिम प्रकाशन की तारीख से प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. उक्त नियमों में, नियम 6 के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम प्रतिस्थापित किए जाएंगे , अर्थात्:-
" 6. प्रवेश शुल्क 15 वर्ष से अधिक आयु का कोई व्यक्ति संरक्षित स्मारक या इसके किसी भाग में निम्नानुसार प्रवेश शुल्क दिए बिना प्रवेश नहीं करेगा :-
(क) द्वितीय अनुसूची के भाग 1 में श्रेणी ' क ' के रूप में यथा निर्दिष्ट स्मारक
( i) भारत का नागरिक..... 10 रु. प्रति व्यक्ति
(ii ) अन्य.............. 250 रु. प्रति व्यक्ति
(ख ) द्वितीय अनुसूची के भाग II में श्रेणी ' ख ' के रूप में यथा निर्दिष्ट स्मारक
( i ) भारत का नागरिक.... 5 रु. प्रति व्यक्ति
(ii ) अन्य.......... 100 रु. प्रति व्यक्ति" [फा सं. 13/13/2007/एम ] अंशु वैश्य, महानिदेशक

NOTIFICATION
NewDelhi , the 15th January, 2008
G.S.R. 37 (E) . The following draft ofcertain rules further to amend the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Rules , 1959 , which the Central Government proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 38 of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1958 (24 of 1958), is hereby published as required by sub - section ( 1 ) ofthe said section for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby ; and notice is hereby given that the said draft rules will come into effect on or after the expiry of a period of two weeks from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette , copies ofwhich are duly pasted on the notice board of all the ticketed monuments and circulated to all concerned agencies for information .
Any objections or suggestions which may be received from any person in respect of the said draft rules before the expiry of the period specified above will be considered by the Central Government .
Objections or suggestions may be sent to the Director General, Archaeological Survey of India , Ministry of Culture, Janpath, New Delhi - 110001 .
RULES
1. ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains (Amendment) Rules , 2008 .
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In the said rules , for rule 6, the following rule shall be substituted, namely :-
[PART II-SEC . 3 ( i) ]
"6. Entrance fee- No person above the age of 15 years shall enter into a protected monument or part thereof-
(a) specified as category ' A ' monuments in Part I of the Second Schedule , except on payment of fees as under :-
(i) citizens of India ...... Rs . 10/- per head
( ii) others ...... Rs . 250/- per head
(b) specified as category ' B ' monuments in Part II of the Second Schedule, except on payment of fees as under : -
(i ) citizens of India...... Rs . 5 /- per head
(ii) others ...... Rs . 100/- per head"
