सा.का.नि. 51 (अ) .-केन्द्रीय सरकार , नोटेरी अधिनियम, 1952 ( 1952 का 53 ) की धारा 15 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए नोटेरी नियम , 1956 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्मलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात्
1. ( 1) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम नोटेरी ( संशोधन ) नियम , 2008 है ।
(2 ) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. नोटेरी नियम, 1956 की अनुसूची के स्तंभ 1 में ' महाराष्ट्र और पंजाब ' , से संबंधित क्रम सं. 8 और क्रम सं. 11 के सामने स्तंभ 2 में " 875 और 638 " , अंकों के स्थान पर क्रमशः " 1313 और 957" अंक रखे जाएंगे ।

G.S.R. 51 (E). In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 15 ofthe Notaries Act, 1952 (53 of 1952), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Notaries Rules, 1956, namely:-
(1).

1. (1 ) These Rules may be called the Notaries (Amendment) Rules, 2008 .
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In the Notaries Rules , 1956, in the Schedule , in column ( 1 ) , against serial numbers 8 and 11 relating to 'Maharashtra and Punjab ' , in column (2) , for the figures " 875 and 638 " , the figures " 1313 and 957 " shall respectively be substituted.
