सा.का.नि. 54(अ).-केन्द्रीय सरकार, केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क अधिनियम, 1944 ( 1944 का 1 ) की धारा 4 क की उप - धारा ( 1 ) तथा उप - धारा ( 2 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, यह समाधान हो जाने पर कि ऐसा करना लोकहित में आवश्यक है , भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय ( राजस्व विभाग ) की अधिसूचना संख्या 2/2006- केन्द्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क ( एन.टी. ) , तारीख 1 मार्च , 2006 को भारत के राजपत्र , असाधारण , भाग II , खंड 3 , उप- खंड ( i ) में सा. का. नि. 113 ( अ ) का, निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है , अर्थात्
उक्त अधिसूचना में , सारणी में,-

G.S.R. 54(E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - sections ( 1) and (2) of Section 4A ofthe Central Excise Act , 1944 ( 1 of 1944) , the Central Government , on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do , hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) , No. 2/2006 - Central Excise (N.T. ) , dated the 1st March , 2006 , vide number G.S.R. 113 (E) , published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II , Section 3 , Sub - section ( i) dated the 1st March , 2006 , namely: ---

सा.का.नि. 55(अ).-केन्द्रीय सरकार , वित्त अधिनियम , 2007 ( 2007 का 22 ) की धारा 133 का खंड ( ख ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार , तारीख 25 जनवरी , 2008 को उस तारीख के रूप में नियत करती है जिससे उक्त धारा के खण्ड ( ii ) के अंतर्विष्ट उपबंध प्रवृत्त होंगे ।

NewDelhi , the 24th January , 2008 No. 06/2008-CENTRAL EXCISE (N.T. )
G.S.R. 55(E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (ii) of Section 133 of the Finance Act, 2007 (22 of 2007) , the Central Government, hereby appoints the 25th day of January, 2008 as the date for the purposes of clause ( ii ) of the said section .
