(आय-कर ).
का.आ. 267(अ).-केन्द्रीय सरकार , आय- कर अधिनियम , 1961 ( 1961 का 43 ) की धारा 2 के खंड (48 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , उक्त खंड के प्रयोजनों के लिए निम्नलिखित विशिष्टियों के साथ बंधपत्र को जीरो कूपन बंधपत्र विनिर्दिष्ट करती है, अर्थात्: - (क) बंधपत्र का नाम
नेशनल हाउसिंग बैंक ( एनएचबी ) का दस वर्षीय जीरो कूपन बंधपत्र;
(ख ) बंधपत्र की जीवन अवधि
दसवर्ष;
(ग ) बंधपत्र जारी होने की समय- सूची
31 मार्च, 2009 को या उसके पूर्व जारी किए जाने के लिए;
प्रत्येक बंधपत्र के लिए दस हजार रुपए;
(घ ) बंधपत्र की परिपक्वता या मोचन पर संदेय की जाने वाली रकम
(ङ
) बट्टा
बंधपत्र के जारी होने के समय नेशनल हाउसिंग बैंक ( एनएचबी ) द्वारा विनिश्चय कियाजाना है; और
तीस लाख ।
(च) जारी किए जाने वाले बंधपत्रों की संख्या
2. यह अधिसूचना आय- कर नियम , 1962 के नियम ४ख के उप - नियम ( 3 ) के खंड ( ii ) , खंड ( iii ) और खंड ( v ) और उप- नियम ( 6 ) में निर्दिष्ट शर्तों के पूरा करने के अध्यधीन है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 6th February , 2008
(Income-tax)
S.O. 267 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by clause 48 of Section 2 of the Income - tax Act , 1961 (43 of 1961 ), the Central Government hereby specifies the bond with the following particulars as zero coupon bond for the purposes of the said clause , namely :-
(a) Name of the bond
Ten years zero coupon bond of National Housing Bank ( NHB ) ;
(b) Period of life of the bond
Ten years;
To be issued on or before the 31st day of March, 2009;
(c) The time schedule of the issue of the bond
Tenthousand rupees for each bond ;
(d) The amount to be paid on maturity or redemption of the bond
(e) The discount
To be decided by National Housing Bank (NHB ) at the time of issue of the bond ; and
(f) The number of bonds to be issued
Thirty lakhs .
2. This notification is subject to the fulfillment of conditions referred to in clause ( ii ) , clause ( iii ) and clause (v) of sub-rule (3 ) and sub - rule (6) of Rule 8B of the Income - tax Rules , 1962.
