New Delhi , the 25th January , 2008 फा. सं. 38-10/विधि/2008.-क्षेत्रीय समितियों के गठन के बारे में परिषद् द्वारा अधिसूचना सं. 38-10/विधि/2004 दिनांक 31 जनवरी , 2005 के माध्यम से जारी अधिसूचना में आंशिक संशोधन करते हुए तथा अभातशिप अधिनियम ( 1987 का 52 ) की धारा 23 ( 2 ) (ङ ) के साथर पठित उप - धारा 14 (4 ) के अधीन प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए अभातशिप एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित विनियमों में संशोधन करती है :-
F. No. 38-10/Legal/2008 .-- In partial modification ofthe notification issued by the Council vide Notification F. No. 38-10/Legal/2004 dated 31st January, 2005 regarding constitution ofRegional Committees and in exercise ofthe powers conferred under Section 23 (2)(e) read with Section 14(4) ofthe AICTE Act (Act 52 of 1987), the AICTE hereby amends regulations as under :- Para 3 (a) reads as under:
पैरा 3 ( क ) इस प्रकार पढ़ा जाए :
(a) Chairman to be nominated by the Chairman ofAll India Council for Technical Education ;
(क) अध्यक्ष को अखिल भारतीय तकनीकी शिक्षा परिषद् के अध्यक्ष द्वारा नामित किया जाएगा;
Para 3(b) reads as under :
पैरा 3 ( ख ) इस प्रकार पढ़ा जाए :
(ख ) अध्यक्ष , अखिल भारतीय तकनीकी शिक्षा परिषद् द्वारा , मान्यताप्राप्त तकनीकी शिक्षा संस्थाओं अर्थात् भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थानों क्षेत्रीय इंजीनियरी महाविद्यालयों, तकनीकी शिक्षक प्रशिक्षण संस्थानों , क्षेत्र में इंजीनियरी महाविद्यालयों , पॉलिटेकनिक, में सेवारत निदेशकों/प्राचार्यों में से , चार सदस्य नामित किए जाएंगे ;
(b) four members to be nominated by the Chairman ofthe All India Council for Technical Education from amongst the Directors /Principals of recognized Institutions of Technical Education i.e. Indian Institutes of Technology ; Regional Engineering Colleges , Technical Teachers Training Institutes , Engineering Colleges , Polytechnics , in the region;

4. पदावधि:-
4. Term of office:
( 1 ) अध्यक्ष एवं अन्य सदस्यों, पदेन सदस्यों को छोड़कर, की पदावधि समिति के गठन की तारीख से तीन वर्ष के लिए होगी ।
(1) The term of office of the Chairman and other members , except the ex - officio members shall be three years from the date of constitution of the Committee.
अन्य सभी पैरा अपरिवर्तनीय रहेंगे ।
All other paras remain unchanged.
