का.आ. 332( अ ).- केन्द्र सरकार , भारतीय प्रतिभूति और विनिमय बोर्ड ( अध्यक्ष और सदस्यों की सेवा शर्तें तथा निबंधन ) नियमावली , 1992 के नियम 3 के साथ पठित भारतीय प्रतिभूति और विनिमय बोर्ड अधिनियम , 1992 ( 1992 का 15 ) की धारा 4 के तहत प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए श्री एम. दामोदरन के कार्यकाल पूरा करने पर एतद्वारा श्री सी. बी. भावे , वर्तमान अध्यक्ष और प्रबंध निदेशक , नेशनल सिक्योरिटीज डिपोजिटरी लिमिटेड, को पद्भार ग्रहण करने की तारीख से तीन वर्ष की अवधि के लिए अथवा अगले आदेश तक, जो भी पहले हो, भारतीय प्रतिभूति और विनिमय बोर्ड का अध्यक्ष नियुक्त करती है ।

New Delhi , the 15th February, 2008
S.O. 332 (E). In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 ofthe Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992( 15 of 1992) , read with rule 3 ofthe Securities and Exchange Board of India (Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairman and Members ) Rules , 1992 , the Central Government hereby appoints Shri C. B. Bhave , presently Chairman and Managing Director, National Securities Depository Limited as Chairınan of the Securities and Exchange Board of India, on completion of term of Shri M. Damodaran , for a period of three years from the date he assumes charge of the office of Chairman or until further orders , whichever is earlier .
