सा.का.नि. 88( अ ).- राष्ट्रपति , संविधान के अनुच्छेद 309 के परंतुक द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्रीय औद्योगिक सुरक्षा बल ( अधीनस्थ पद ) भर्ती नियम , 1999 में और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाते हैं, अर्थात्:-
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम केन्द्रीय औद्योगिक सुरक्षा बल ( अधीनस्थ पद ) भर्ती संशोधन नियम, 2008 है।
(2) ये राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे।
2. केन्द्रीय औद्योगिक सुरक्षा बल ( अधीनस्थ पद ) भर्ती नियम , 1999 की अनुसूची में , स्तम्भ संख्या 12 के अधीन प्रविष्टियों में, उप- निरीक्षक (कार्यपालक ) के पद से संबंधित क्रम संख्या 4 के सामने , मद संख्या ( ii ) और उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर, निम्नलिखित रखी जाएगी , अर्थात्:-
" ( ii ) प्रोन्नति :-ऐसे सहायक उप - निरीक्षक ( कार्यपालक ) में से जिन्होंने उस पद में 5 वर्ष की नियमित सेवा पूरी कर ली है , जिसके न हो सकने पर हैड कांस्टेबल ( साधारण ड्यूटी ) या हैड कांस्टेबल ( चालक ) के पद पर 10 वर्ष की सम्मिलित नियमित सेवा, जिसमें कम से कम 1 वर्ष की सेवा सहायक उप- निरीक्षक ( कार्यपालक ) के पद में, की हो तथा चिकित्सा श्रेणी शेप -1 में हो तथा प्रोन्नति के लिए विचार किए जाने से पूर्व उप- निरीक्षक ( कार्यपालक ) का प्रोन्नति संवर्ग पाठ्यक्रम पूरा कर लिया हो । "

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 14th February, 2008
G.S.R. 88 (E) . In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution , the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Industrial Security Force (Subordinate Ranks) Recruitment Rules , 1999, namely:-
1. ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Central Industrial Security Force (Subordinate Ranks ) Recruitment Amend- mentRules , 2008 .
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In the Schedule to the Central Industrial Security Force (Subordinate Ranks ) Recruitment Rules , 1999 , against serial number 4 relating to the post of Sub - Inspector (Executive), in the entries under column 12, for item (ii ) and the entries relating thereto , the following shall be substituted , namely :-
"( ii ) Promotion: --From amongst the Assistant Sub- Inspector (Executive) who have completed 5 years regular service in the rank, failing which , 10 years combined regular service in the rank of Head Constable (General duty) or Head Constable (Driver ) out of which at least 1 year should be in the rank of Assistant Sub - Inspector (Executive) , and being in medical category SHAPE- I and have successfully completed promotion cadre course ofSub - Inspector (Executive ) before being considered for promotion" .
