का.आ. 342 (अ).- भारतीय चिकित्सा केन्द्रीय परिषद् ( निर्वाचन ) नियमावली , 1975 के नियम 23 के साथ पठित भारतीय चिकित्सा केन्द्रीय परिषद् अधिनियम , 1970 ( 1970 का 48 ) की धारा 3 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) के खंड ( ख ) के अनुसरण में, तमिलनाडु डॉ. एम. जी. आर. यूनिवर्सिटी, चैन्नई की यूनानी चिकित्सा पद्धति से एक सदस्य को उक्त विश्वविद्यालय के यूनानी संकाय के सदस्यों द्वारा अपने बीच से निर्वाचित किया गया है,
अतएव , उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 3 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्र सरकार अब स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय में भारत सरकार के दिनांक 21 अगस्त , 1971 की अधिसूचना संख्या का.आ. 3259 ( अ ) में निम्नांकित और संशोधन करती है , अर्थात्:-
उक्त अधिसूचना में, धारा 3 की उप - धारा ( 1 ) के खंड ( ख ) के अधीन निर्वाचित शीर्ष के नीचे , सारणी में , निम्नलिखित विश्वविद्यालय के सामने उनसे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियां रखी जाएंगी , अर्थात्:-

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 13th February , 2008
S.O. 342 (E) .--Whereas in pursuance of clause (b) of Sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 3 of The Indian Medicine Central CouncilAct , 1970 (48 of 1970) read with Rule 23 ofthe Indian Medicine Central Council (Election ) Rules , 1975, one member from Unani System of Medicine of the Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai has been elected from amongst themselves by the members of Unani faculty of the said University;
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 3 of the said Act, the Central Government makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare , number S.O. 3259 (E ) , dated the 21st August, 1971, namely:-
In the said notification , under the heading Elected under Clause (b ) of Sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 3 , in the Table, against the following University , for the entries relating thereto , the following entries shall be substituted , namely :
