विषय : गैर- बासमती चावल के निर्यात पर निषेध- बंग्लादेश को निर्यात के लिए छूट ।
का.आ. 349 (अ). विदेश व्यापार नीति , 2004-2009 , के पैरा 1.3 और पैरा 2.1 के साथ पठित विदेश व्यापार ( विकास और विनियमन ) अधिनियम , 1992 ( 1992 की सं. 22 ) की धारा 3 ( 2 ) और धारा 5 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्र सरकार , एतद्वारा यथा संशोधित अधिसूचना सं. 38 ( आरई-2007 ) 2004-2009, दिनांक 15 अक्तूबर, 2007 के पैराग्राफ 2 के अंत में तत्काल प्रभाव से निम्नलिखित अतिरिक्त परिवर्धन करती है :
" 2.8 इस अधिसूचना द्वारा गैर - बासमती चावल के निर्यात पर लगाया गया निषेध पश्चिम बंगाल सरकार द्वारा बंग्लादेश को राहत सामग्री के तौर पर आपूर्ति किए जाने वाले 1010 मी. टन. गैर - बासमती चावल के निर्यात पर लागू नहींहोगा।"
2. यह 15 फरवरी , 2008 से प्रभावी है।
3. इसे लोकहित में जारी किया जाता है ।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 18th February, 2008
No. 78 ( RE- 2007)/2004-2009
Subject : Prohibition on export of non - basmati rice- exemption for export to Bangladesh .
S.O. 349 ( E). In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 and Section 3 (2) ofthe Foreign Trade ( Deve- lopment & Regulation ) Act , 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) read with Para 1.3 and Para 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004- 2009, the Central Government hereby makes the following further addition with immediate effect at the end of Paragraph 2 of Notification No. 38(RE - 2007)/2004-2009, dated 15th October , 2007 as amended :-
"2.8 The prohibition imposed by this Notification on export of non - basmati rice shall not be applicable to export of 1010 MT of non - basmati rice to Bangladesh to be supplied by the Govern- mentof West Bengal as relief material. "
2. This is effective from 15th February, 2008 .
3. This issues in public interest.
