सा.का.नि. 93 ( अ ). भारत सरकार के दिनांक 28 सितम्बर, 2007 की अधिसूचना सं. का.आ. 1684( अ) के क्रम में ग्रामीण विकास मंत्रालय ने राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण रोजगार गारंटी अधिनियम , 2005 (2005 का 42 ) की धारा 2 की उप - धारा (ओ ) के साथ पठित धारा 1 की उप - धारा ( 3 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए 1 अप्रैल , 2008 की तारीख , जिस दिन उपर्युक्त अधिनियम राज्यों/संघ राज्य क्षेत्रों में विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में लागू होगा , जैसा कि उक्त अधिसूचना की अनुसूची में दर्शाया गया है , नियत करते हुए इसे जारी किया । नीचे दी गई अनुसूची में यथाविनिर्दिष्ट क्षेत्र भी शामिल किए जा सकते हैं :-

G.S.R. 93 ( E) .-In continuation of Notification No. S.O. 1684 ( E) dated 28th September , 2007 of the Government of India, Ministry ofRural Development issued in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (3 ) of Section 1 read with sub - section (o) of Section 2 of the National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, 2005 (42 of 2005) , appointing the 1st day ofApril , 2008 as the date on which the said Act shall come into force in the different areas in the States/Union Territories as indicated in the Schedule to the said notification, the areas as specified in the schedule given below may also be included:--
