का. आ. 364( अ ).- भारतीय पशुचिकित्सा परिषद् अधिनियम , 1984 ( 1984 का 52 ) की धारा 15 की उप - धारा ( 2 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों को प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्र सरकार, भारतीय पशुचिकित्सा परिषद् से परामर्श करने के बाद , उक्त अधिनियम की प्रथम अनुसूची में, उप- शीर्ष डिग्री के अंतर्गत और आगे निम्नलिखित संशोधन करती है , तमिलनाडू कृषि विश्वविद्यालय से संबंधित क्रम संख्या 40 और उससे संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित को शामिल किया जाए , नामतः :-

1 " 40. तमिलनाडु पशुचिकित्सा और पशुविज्ञान विश्वविद्यालय , चेन्नई ।
पशुचिकित्सा विज्ञान में स्नातक । पशुचिकित्सा विज्ञान और पशुपालन में स्नातक ।
पशुचिकित्सा विज्ञान में स्नातक । यह योग्यता पूर्वोक्त अनुसार 20 सितम्बर , 1989 को या इसके बाद तथा 21 दिसम्बर , 2006 या इससे पहले प्राप्त किए जाने पर मान्यताप्राप्त पशुचिकित्सा योग्यता मानी जाएगी ।
मद्रास पशुचिकित्सा कालेज , चेन्नई और पशुचिकित्सा विज्ञान कालेज तथा अनुसंधान संस्थान , नामाक्कल में प्रशिक्षित विद्यार्थियों के लिए ।
यह योग्यता पूर्वोक्त अनुसार मात्र 22 दिसम्बर , 2006 को या इसके बाद प्राप्त होने की स्थिति में मान्यताप्राप्त पशु चिकित्सा योग्यता मानी जाएगी । "

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 19th February , 2008
S.O. 364(E) .---In exercise ofthe powers conferred by sub - section (2 ) of Section 15 of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (52 of 1984 ) , the Central Government, after consulting the Veterinary Council of India, hereby makes the following further amendments in the First Schedule to the said Act, under sub -heading DEGREE , against serial number 40 relating to Tamil Nadu Agricultural University and the entries relating there to , the following shall be substituted , namely:-

"40. Tamilnadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Chennai .

Bachelor of Veterinary Science . Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry
In respect of the students being trained at Madras Veterinary College, Chennai and College ofVeterinary Science and Research Institute , Namakkal .

B.V.Sc. This qualification shall be a recog- nized veterinary qualification as aforesaid when granted on or after the 20th September, 1989 and on or before the 21st December , 2006. B.V.Sc. & A.Η. This qualification shall be a recog- nized veterinary qualification as aforesaid only when granted on or after the 22nd December , 2006."
