सा.का.नि. 106 (अ).-खाद्य अपमिश्रण निवारण नियम , 1955 का और संशोधन करने के लिए कतिपय नियमों का निम्नलिखित प्रारूप जिन्हें केन्द्रीय सरकार खाद्य अपमिश्रण निवारण अधिनियम , 1954 ( 1954 का 37 ) की धारा 23 की उप- धारा ( 1 ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केंद्रीय खाद्य मानक समिति से परामर्श के पश्चात् बनाना चाहती है , उक्त उप - धारा की अपेक्षानुसार ऐसे सभी व्यक्तियों की जानकारी के लिए , जिनके उससे प्रभावित होने की संभावना है , प्रकाशित किया जाता है और यह सूचना दी जाती है कि उक्त प्रारूप नियमों पर उस तारीख से, जिसको उस राजपत्र की प्रतियां , जिसमें यह अधिसूचना प्रकाशित की जाती है , जनता को उपलब्ध करा दी जाती हैं , तीस दिन की अवधि की समाप्ति पर या उसके पश्चात् विचार किया जाएगा;
आक्षेप या सुझाव यदि कोई हो , सचिव , स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय , भारत सरकार, निर्माण भवन , नई दिल्ली -110011 को भेजे जा सकेंगे ;
ऐसे आक्षेप और सुझावों पर जो उक्त प्रारूप नियमों की बाबत इस प्रकार विनिर्दिष्ट अवधि की समाप्ति के पूर्व किसी व्यक्ति से प्राप्त हों, केंद्रीय सरकार द्वारा विचार किया जाएगा ।
प्रारूप नियम
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम खाद्य अपमिश्रण निवारण ( संशोधन ) नियम , 2008 है ।
(2) ये राजपत्र में उनके प्रकाशन की तारीख से प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. खाद्य अपमिश्रण निवारण नियम , 1955 ( जिन्हें इसमें इसके पश्चात् उक्त नियम कहा गया है ) के परिशिष्ट- ख में , धान चोकर तेल से संबंधित मद क. 17.23 " असाबुनीकरण पदार्थ के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित रखा जाएगा , अर्थात्:- का भार में प्रतिशत 3.5 से अनधिक " शब्द और अंकों " असाबुनीकरण पदार्थ :-
( i ) रसायनिक रूप से परिष्कृत 3.5 प्रतिशत से अनधिक
(ii ) भौतिक रूप से परिष्कृत 4.5 प्रतिशत से अनधिक

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 25th February , 2008
G.S.R. 106 (E). The following draft of certain rules further to amend the Prevention of Food Adulteration Rules , 1955, which the Central Government, after consultation with the Central Committee for Food Standards , proposes to make in exercise ofthe powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 23 of the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act , 1954(37 of1954) , is hereby published , as required by the said sub - section, for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby; and notice is hereby given that the said draft rules will be taken into consideration on or after the expiry ofa period ofthirty days from the date on which copies of the Gazette of India in which this notification is published, are made available to the public ;
Objections or suggestions , if any , may be forwarded to the Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare , Government of India, Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi - 110011 .
The objections or suggestions , which may be received from any person , with respect to the said draft rules , before the expiry of the period so specified, will be considered by the Central Government .
DRAFT RULES
1. ( 1 ) These rules may be called the Prevention of Food Adulteration ( .... 2008. ..Amendment) Rules ,
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In the Prevention of Food Adulteration Rules , 1955 , in Appendix- B , in item A. 17.23 relating to Rice Bran Oil , for ..Not more than 3.5 per cent" , the following shall be substituted, the words and figures " Unsaponifiable matter. namely:-
"Unsaponifiable matter-
( i) for chemically refined --- ----Not more than 3.5 per cent
(ii) for physically refined ----- ---Not more than 4.5 per cent
Oryzanol content-
Not less than 1.0 per cent . "
