और फ्लैशिंग हैंड सिगनल उपलब्ध नहीं कराया गया है और रेल सेवक पटाखा रखने के लिए जा रहा है तो महताबी सिगनल का प्रयोग विशेष अनुदेशों द्वारा विहित रीति से किया जा सकेगा " ।

पाद टिप्पणी : भारतीय रेल ( चालित लाइन ) साधारण नियम, 1976, भारत के राजपत्र में तारीख 21 जुलाई , 1981 को अधिसूचना संख्या सा.का.नि. 445( अ ) , तारीख 22 अक्तूबर , 1980 द्वारा प्रकाशित किए गए थे और तत्पश्चात् उनमें निम्नलिखित संख्याओं द्वारा संशोधन किए गए :-
सा.का.नि. 116(अ). केन्द्रीय सरकार, रेल अधिनियम , 1989 (1989 का 24 ) की धारा 198 और धारा 200 की उप- धारा (2 ) के खण्ड ( क ) के साथ पठित धारा 60 की उप- धारा ( 2 ) के खण्ड (छ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , भारतीय रेल ( चालित लाइन ) साधारण नियम , 1976 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात्:-
(1) सा.का.नि. 320 , तारीख 16 अप्रैल , 1983
(2) सा.का.नि. 352, तारीख 30 अप्रैल , 1983
1. संक्षिप्त नाम और प्रारंभ. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम भारतीय रेल (चालित लाइन ) साधारण ( संशोधन ) नियम, 2008 है ।
(3) सा.का.नि. 514(अ) , तारीख 27 जून , 1983
(4) सा.का.नि.. 476(अ) , तारीख 28 जून , 1984
(2) ये राजपत्र में इनके प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे।
(5) सा.का.नि. 245 , तारीख 23 मई, 1992

2. नियम 3.52 में संशोधन भारतीय रेल ( चालित लाइन ) साधारण नियम , 1976 ( जिसे इसमें इसके पश्चात् उक्त नियम कहा गया है ) , के नियम 3.52 में, उप-नियम (3 ) के पश्चात्, निम्नलिखित उप-नियम अंतःस्थापित किया जाएगा अर्थात्
(8) सा.का.नि. 47, तारीख 13 फरवरी , 1999
(9) सा.का.नि. 213 (अ), तारीख 18 मार्च , 1999 "(4) उप- नियम (3 ) में निर्दिष्ट लाल या हरी बत्ती या तो स्थैतिक या फ्लैशिंग प्रकार की होगी " ।
(10) सा.का.नि. 283(अ), तारीख 26 अप्रैल , 1999
(11) सा.का.नि. 581 (अ) , तारीख 3 जुलाई, 2000 3. नियम 3.66 में संशोधन उक्त नियमों के नियम 3.66 के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित नियम रखा जाएगा , अर्थात्:-
(12) सा.का.नि. 708 (अ) , तारीख 6 सितम्बर , 2000 " 3.66 महताबी ( फ्लेयर ) सिगनल का प्रयोग : यदि किसी ब्लॉक सेक्शन में किसी अवरोध को संरक्षित करने की आवश्यकता है (13) सा.का.नि. 852(अ) , तारीख 8 नवम्बर , 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( g ) of sub- section (2 ) of Section 60, read with Section 198 and clause (a) of sub -section (2) of Section 200 ofthe Railways Act, 1989 (24 of 1989 ), the Central Govern- ment hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Indian Railways (Open Lines ) General Rules , 1976 , namely:--

(12) G.S.R. 708(E) , dated the 6th September , 2000 1. Short title and commencement.( 1 ) These rules may be called the Indian Railways (Open Lines ) General (Amendment ) Rules , 2008 .
(13) G.S.R. 852 (E) , dated the 8th November, 2000
(14) G.S.R. 893 (E) , dated the 24th November, 2000 (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
(15) G.S.R. 913 (E) , dated the 12th December, 2000

(17) G.S.R. 842 (E), dated the 27th December , 2002 2. Amendment of Rule 3.52 .--In the Indian Railways (OpenLines) General Rules , 1976 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules) , in rule 3.52 , after sub- rule (3 ) , the following sub - rule shall be inserted , namely :-

(19) G.S.R. 476 (E) dated the 11th August, 2006 "(4) Red or green light referred to in sub- rule (3 ) shall be either a static or flashing type. " .
(20) G.S.R. 477 (E) dated the 1 fh August, 2006 3. Amendment of Rule 3.66 . For rule 3.66 of the said rules the following rule shall be substituted, namely :-
