i का. आ. 434( अ ).-केन्द्रीय सरकार , राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग अधिनियम , 1956 ( 1956 का 48 ) की धारा 3 के खण्ड ( क ) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए सहायक आयुक्त, मंगलौर उप- खण्ड मंगलौर को कर्नाटक राज्य में नीचे दी गई अनुसूची में यथा विनिर्दिष्ट राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग सं. 17 के 375/300 कि. मी. से 376/600 कि.मी. ( पंजी- मंगलौर , सेक्शन) और 3/600 कि.मी. से 17/200 कि.मी. (मंगलौर-कोचीन सैक्शन ) तक के भूखण्ड का निर्माण ( चौड़ा करने /चार लेन बनाने आदि) , अनुरक्षण, प्रबंध और प्रचालन के संबंध में उक्त अधिनियम के अधीन सक्षम प्राधिकारी के कृत्यों का पालन करने के लिए इस अधिसूचना के राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख से सक्षम प्राधिकारी के रूप में प्राधिकृत करती है।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 5th March , 2008
S. O. 434 (E) . In exercise ofthe powers conferred by clause (a) of Section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of1956) , the Central Government hereby authorises the Assistant Commissioner, Mangalore Sub -division , Mangalore , as the competent authority to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of publication ofthis notification in the Official Gazette , in respect of the stretch of land from Km. 375/300 to Km . 376/600 (Panaji -Mangalore Section) and Km . 3/600 to Km . 17/200 (Mangalore-Cochin Section ) of the National Highway No. 17 for building (widening/four laning, etc. ) , maintenance , management and operation of the said national highway in the State of Karnataka , as specified in the Schedule given below :
