का.आ. 459(अ) .-केन्द्र सरकार ने भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान परिषद् अधिनियम , 1956 ( 1956 का 102 ) की धारा 13 की उप - धारा (4) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान परिषद् से परामर्श करने के बाद उक्त अधिनियम की तीसरी अनुसूची के भाग II में एतद्वारा निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती है , अर्थात्:-
उक्त अनुसूची में शीर्षक " भाग II भारत से बाहर की आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थाओं द्वारा प्रदत्त मान्यताप्राप्त चिकित्सा अर्हताएं जो दूसरी अनुसूची में शामिल नहीं है " के अन्तर्गत आयुर्विज्ञान में डॉक्टर ऑफ फिलोस्फी ( पीएचडी) ( डगस्तान मेडीकल इंस्टीट्यूट ) , यूएसएसआर * अर्हता से संबंधित प्रविष्टियों के बाद और तारक ( * ) के स्पष्टीकरण के नीचे , निम्नलिखित को जोड़ा जाएगा , अर्थात्:-
" आस्ट्रेलिया में प्रदत्त और उस देश में संबंधित विशिष्टताओं में चिकित्सा व्यवसायिकों के रूप में नामांकन के लिए मान्यताप्राप्त सभी स्नातकोत्तर चिकित्सा अर्हताएं;
कनाडा में प्रदत्त और उस देश में संबंधित विशिष्टताओं में चिकित्सा व्यवसायिकों के रूप में नामांकन के लिए मान्यताप्राप्त सभी स्नातकोत्तर चिकित्सा अर्हताएं;
न्यूजीलैंड में प्रदत्त और उस देश में संबंधित विशिष्टताओं में चिकित्सा व्यवसायिकों के रूप में नामांकन के लिए मान्यताप्राप्त सभी स्नातकोत्तर चिकित्सा अर्हताएं;
यूनाईटीड किंगडम में प्रदत्त और उस देश में संबंधित विशिष्टताओं में चिकित्सा व्यवसायिकों के रूप में नामांकन के लिए मान्यताप्राप्त सभी स्नातकोत्तर चिकित्सा अर्हताएं;
संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका में प्रदत्त और उस देश में संबंधित विशिष्टताओं में चिकित्सा व्यवसायिकों के रूप में नामांकन के लिए मान्यताप्राप्त सभी स्नातकोत्तर चिकित्सा अर्हताएं; "

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 7th March, 2008
S.O. 459 (E). In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section (4) of the Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 ( 102 of 1956 ) , the Central Government, after consultation with the Medical Council of India , hereby makes the following further amendments in Part II of the Third Schedule to the said Act, namely :--
In the said Schedule under the heading " Part II Recognized Medical Qualifications Grantedby Medical Institutions outside India not included in the Second Schedule " , after the entries relating to the qualification Doctor of Philosophy (Ph . D. ) in Medical Sciences (Dagastan Medical Institute ) , U.S.S.R. * and below the explanation of the asterisk (*) , the following shall be added, namely :-
"All post graduate medical qualifications awarded in Australia and recognized for enrolment as medical practitioners in the concerned specialties in that country;
All post graduate medical qualifications awarded in Canada and recognized for enrolment as medical practitio- ners in the concerned specialties in that country;
All post graduate medical qualifications awarded in New Zealand and recognized for enrolment as medical practitioners in the concerned specialties in that country;
All post graduate medical qualifications awarded in United Kingdom and recognized for enrolment as medical practitioners in the concerned specialties in that country;
All post graduate medical qualifications awarded in United States of America and recognized for enrolment as medical practitioners in the concerned specialties in that country. "
