सं. 11 ( 39 )/2007-खान-I.- भारतीय भूवैज्ञानिक सर्वेक्षण ( जीएसआई) के कार्यकरण की पूर्णतया समीक्षा करने और इस संगठन के प्रौद्योगिकीय और जनशक्ति संबंधी संसाधनों को ध्यान में रखते हुए , नई- नई चुनौतियों का सामना करने में इसकी क्षमता का आकलन करने हेतु 7 जनवरी , 2008 के संकल्प सं. 11(39)/2007-खान-1 के तहत गठित की गई उच्च अधिकार- प्राप्त समिति का कार्यकाल , भारत सरकार द्वारा 31 जनवरी , 2009 तक बढ़ा दिया गया है ।
उच्च अधिकार प्राप्त समिति के विचारार्थ विषय और उनसे संबंधित अन्य उपबंध वही रहेंगे ।

RESOLUTION
New Delhi , the 31st October, 2008
No. 11 (39)/2007-M.-I . The tenure of the High Powered Committee constituted vide Resolution No. 11 (39)/ 2007-M. - I dated 7th January, 2008 , to thoroughly review the functioning of the Geological Survey of India (GSI) , and assess its capacity to meet the emerging challenges taking into account the organization's technological and manpower resources , has been extended by the Government of India till 31st January, 2009.
The terms of reference of the Committee and other provisions relating thereto will remain the same .
