New Delhi , the 4th November , 2008
S.O. 2622 (E) . Whereas the Central Government having been satisfied that the public interest so requires that in pursuance of the provisions of sub-clause (vi ) of the clause (n) of Section 2 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 ( 14 of 1947) , declared by the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour , dated 16-5-2008 the service in the Any Oil Field which is covered by item 17 of the First Schedule to the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947(14 of 1947) to be a Public Utility Service for the purpose of the said Act, for a period of six months from the 19thMay,2008;
का.आ. 2622( अ)-केन्द्रीय सरकार संतुष्ट हो जाने पर कि लोकहित में ऐसा करना अपेक्षित था , औद्योगिक विवाद अधिनियम, 1947 (1947 का 14) की धारा 2 के खंड ( ढ़ ) के उप-खण्ड (vi) के उपबंधों के अनुसरण में भारत सरकार के श्रम और रोजगार मंत्रालय की अधिसूचना दिनांक 16-5-2008 द्वारा किसी भी तेल क्षेत्र जो कि औद्योगिक विवाद अधिनियम , 1947 ( 1947 का 14) की प्रथम अनुसूची की प्रविष्टि 17 में शामिल है , को उक्त अधिनियम के प्रयोजनों के लिए दिनांक 19-5-2008 से छः मास की कालावधि के लिए लोक उपयोगी सेवा घोषित किया था;
और केन्द्रीय सरकार की राय है कि लोकहित में उक्त कालावधि को छः मास की और कालावधि के लिए बढ़ाया जाना अपेक्षित है ;
And whereas , the Central Government is of opinion that public interest requires the extension of the said period by a further period of six months;
अतः , अब , औद्योगिक विवाद अधिनियम , 1947 ( 1947 का 14) की धारा 2 के खण्ड ( ढ़ ) के उप - खण्ड (vi ) के परन्तुक द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्रीय सरकार उक्त उद्योग को उक्त अधिनियम के प्रयोजनों के लिए दिनांक 19-11-2008 से छः मास की कालावधि के लिए लोक उपयोगी सेवा घोषित करती है ।
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub -clause (vi) of clause (n) of Section 2 ofthe Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 ( 14 of 1947) the Central Government hereby declares the said industry to be a Public Utility Service for the purposes ofthe said Act, for a period ofsix months from the 19th November , 2008 .
